We begin the sightseeing bus tour by walking to the World Trade Center Building where you can zoom up to the observatory deck on the 40th floor of the Seaside Top for 360 degree views over the city below. Located in the heart of the city, from here you can observe life passing beneath your feet and you might even catch a glimpse of Mt Fuji.
Next stop is the Imperial Palace Plaza to admire Nijubashi Bridge and the surrounding scenery of the National Garden which forms part of the palace grounds open to the public. From Daimon Station we head to Roppongi Station via subway, where we start the morning by visiting the Kimono rental shop, where you spend about half an hour choosing a kimono that suits you. You’ll be fitted a colourful and ornate kimono along with a traditional obi (sash) and geta (sandals) whilst learning all about the tradition of kimono wearing in Japan from your guide. If you’re taking part in the experience during the summer months of June to September, then a yukata (light kimono) will be offered. Still worn by Japanese on special occasions, wearing a kimono is a unique experience and one that will make your day in Tokyo a memorable one.
Once you have chosen your kimono, its then time to take to the streets of Roppongi for the best photo opportunities. Enjoy a walk through Tokyo’s cosmopolitan neighbourhood, full of entertainment venues, dressed in Japan’s most traditional dress along the city’s most multicultural streets. From our meeting point we travel by Oedo Subway Line or JR Line to what is now the fashionable dining and shopping district of Kagurazaka. Take a guided walking tour along the cobblestone streets and traditional architecture to admire the remains of the Edo period. The neighbourhood is also an established entertainment district with many geisha houses dotted around the area, giving it a traditional atmosphere.

We make our way to Harajuku by JR Line, where once we have arrived in Tokyo’s bustling shopping district; your guide will take you to the hot spots not to be missed. Visit the Daiso 100 Yen Shop, Tokyo’s largest shop of its kind, before making our way to Cat Street – the home of Tokyo’s vibrant street fashion and youth culture.
Next is the incredible Omotesando Hills, the city’s shopping hub with over 130 shops, situated along Omotesando; dubbed the Champs-Elysées of Tokyo. La tarifa para el ascensor de las cascadas Kegon no está incluida. Debido a la gran congestión de tráfico que se genera en la temporada alta de otoño, el tour no visitará las cascadas Kegon o el lago Chuzenji entre el 10 de octubre y el 5 de noviembre. From Tokyo we make our way by public transport to Ryogoku Kokugikan where the Grand Sumo Tournament is taking place. From Ryogoku Station, the whole area is filled with the electric atmosphere of the Grand Sumo Tournament, where many chanko stew restaurants are run by former sumo wrestlers. Be engrossed in sumo matches from the comfort of chair seating on the 2nd floor after having visited the Sumo Museum, where you can see important sumo items such as woodblock prints, folding screens and ceremonial aprons. Listen to the match commentary in English on an FM radio which can be rented for a fee. A sumo brochure and an English sumo ranking list are also provided. Over the few hours you’ll become not only acquainted with sumo traditions, but also caught up in the thrill and excitement as sumo wrestlers compete to become the best of their rank. For those that have selected the dinner option, the tour will end as you are seated in the restaurant.

This museum is located inside lush Inokashira Park and features a plethora of exhibits including animation production processes, a reading room, as well as a Ghibli original short animated feature viewable only at the museum.
An interpreter guide will accompany the tour from Keio Plaza Hotel until the entrance of Ghibli Museum. The guide will not enter the museum. The tour ends after participants have arrived and completed entrance procedures for Ghibli Museum. Please head to your next destination on your own after enjoying the museum, which closes at 6:00 pm.
