Tourists will be collected in the morning at the hotel where they are staying, then they will be moved to the Bay of port undertake Villamil where the kayak tour.

The city tour will start at the Plaza San Sebastian, which constitutes the western colonial border of the city of Cuenca. We will walk by the downtown historical area to visit the San Francisco market, the flower market, the culture house, the Abdon Calderon Park, and the old cathedral (we will not enter). We will enter in the New Cathedral, it’s the biggest in the country there we’ll observe the famous gold leaf canopy.
We continue the tour to the Homero Ortega Panama Hat factory to observe the complete process of manufacturing of the Panama hat which is undoubtedly most important to our country. Later we will visit the “barranco” with its colonial style terraced houses located next to the “Tomebamba River”. Also we will also observe the “broken bridge” and finally visit the tourist balcony of “Turi” where we can see a panoramic view of the whole city of Cuenca. Then return to the Hotel.
We start our tour out of the northwestern side of the city of Cuenca with a visit to San Bartolome, a little town next to the Andes mountain range, with an amazing view of the valley of River Santa Bárbara. This town is famous for its crafty artisans in making guitars. We will visit a traditional shop to observe the process of making this musical instrument.
We continue to Chordeleg a town known around the country for its ceramic, gold and silver jewelry and above all for their fine filigree work made of gold and silver threads. Here we will be able to go shopping and the artisans will show us the way they elaborate the jewelry. There we can then take a walk around its central plaza where we will observe countless crafts and shops.
Later, we will continue to Gualaceo to visit 2 important markets that are known for their variety of products and the colorful scenery. Then we’ll stop for lunch (not included), after visit a textile shop where we’ll observe the back strap loom and the horizontal loom weaving and how a variety of products are made, they will also show us the Hispanic technique of “Ikat” to make shawls and ponchos. Then return to Cuenca
The tour begins visiting Churute The Mangroves Ecological Reserve. Located in the canton Naranjal, Guayas province 40 kilometers from the city of Guayaquil, this reserve is one of the most important in the country due to the amount of freshwater birds that inhabit the site. Upon reaching booking tourists do a canoe trip for 40 minutes in which they can visualize the formation of the largest in the Pacific coast of South America estuary. Then they perform a walk along the path of the Howlers. It is 1.4 kilometers walking through the tropical dry forest and you can see monkeys and birds native to the area. The tour is average.

This tour starts very early in the morning, tourists will be picked up at the hotel at the agreed time. After that they will be transferred to the Cajas National Park. Sport fishing is permitted in the Cajas National Park, however it is illegal to use nets, gas, dynamite, among others. All necessary equipment will be provided to perform this activity. At the end of fishing tourists receive lunch and then be transferred back to Cuenca.
From Cuenca we moved to the Cajas National Park to the area Horse Shayana where we say goodbye to our driver. The walk began in the Laguna de Cucheros (height 3950 m) Our naturalist guide will accompany us throughout the tour, which begins with an uphill walk for 40 minutes until knife / blade (height 4080 m) from where we observe the valley Burin (height 4010 m) where several gaps as large Burin Burin boy Ingañan among others; where we dive into the Andean grassland while admiring the natural beauty especially the panoramic view of the sector and the canyon floor where the slope that will feed the Llaviucu Mamamag and lagoons.

Después de recogerte en el hotel, nos dirigiremos al centro histórico de la que fue la primera ciudad en ser declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Tras atravesar la Avenida Gran Colombia, podrás contemplar la hermosa Basílica del Voto Nacional, desde donde pondrás rumbo a la Plaza de la Independencia a través de pintorescas calles. Este lugar histórico está flanqueado por edificios emblemáticos como la Catedral Metropolitana, la sede del Gobierno (el Palacio de Carondelet), el Palacio Arzobispal y la Iglesia de la Compañía de Jesús, donde podrás apreciar los bellos adornos y altares de oro. A escasos metros se encuentra la Iglesia de San Francisco, construida en el s.XVI. Admira esta imponente estructura antes de llegar al Mirador del Panecillo, coronado por una escultura gigante de la Virgen María. Desde aquí disfrutarás de impresionantes vistas de la ciudad; tanto del centro histórico, como de los extremos norte y sur.
Continuaremos la ruta hacia el norte a través de una de las autopistas que conducen hasta el Museo Intiñán y más tarde pasearemos por tiendas y visitaremos “Mitad del Mundo”, una zona donde se divide el hemisferio norte y sur del planeta. Contempla el monumento y hazte una foto con un pie en cada uno de los hemisferios antes de regresar al centro de la ciudad.

The tour begins with a visit to the city’s Historic Center:
San Sebastian, a picturesque and traditional neighborhood of Cuenca, houses the Modern Art Museum, where the famous International Biennial of Painting takes place permanently.
Also, tourists visit the Calderon Park (central park), the Flower Plaza, the Church “del Carmen”. They visit the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, best known as the “New Cathedral,” considered as of the biggest churches in Latin America.
There is also a visit to the Cathedral “El Sagrario,” commonly known as the “Old Cathedral,” the city’s first Cathedral. Afterwards, tourists visit a Paja Toquilla Hat Factory, where they observe the elaboration process of the finest hats.
Visit an artisan ceramist, where tourists will have a one-hour ceramics class. It’s okay not to have any experience! The teacher will share his/her knowledge and techniques. The piece will be baked in the afternoon and delivered to the hotel the following day.
The route continues with the visit to the “Barranco,” which constitutes a communion between architecture and the natural environment. The houses are attached to the incline, displaying their majesty and charm.
The visit is finished at the “Mirador de Turi” (scenic viewpoint) where the landscape of a valley full of red roofs and church domes is framed by imposing mountains.

We begin in the northern part of the city with a tour along the most important commercial areas, where most of the hotels are located. Then we head to the historic center to admire the spectacle of the illuminated churches and its main tourist attractions, offering some unique landscapes in our city (Tickets not included). The tour continues to the Mirador del Panecillo (entrance included) recognized for its beauty, where you can delight with a beautiful view of colonial and modern Quito.
During the tour, the guide will tell you about the culinary diversity of the city and traveller will enjoy a little taste of this.
