We begin in the northern part of the city with a tour along the most important commercial areas, where most of the hotels are located. Then we head to the historic center to admire the spectacle of the illuminated churches and its main tourist attractions, offering some unique landscapes in our city (Tickets not included). The tour continues to the Mirador del Panecillo (entrance included) recognized for its beauty, where you can delight with a beautiful view of colonial and modern Quito.
During the tour, the guide will tell you about the culinary diversity of the city and traveller will enjoy a little taste of this.

Tourists will be picked up at the hotel where they are staying, then will transfer to the tunnels, this is one of the best places for snorkeling because its waters are calm, clear and shallow. This is a unique site thanks to its wonderful geological formations, as lava flows have formed a lot of arches or tunnels, in and out of the water, where several species of marine fauna of the Enchanted Islands refuge. Laguna El Junco is a miraculous fresh water lake, the largest fresh water preserve in the entire Galapagos archipelago. It was formed in the middle of the Pacific Ocean in the crater of a now-extinct volcano in the highlands of San Cristobal. Just a short drive from the Galapagos Eco-Lodge, the lake boasts some of the most dramatic greenery in the island system and is home to a large population of bird life. The hike to El Junco provides the opportunity to climb up the sides of this extinct volcano.
From your spectacular vantage point you may see many of the endemic bird species including Galapagos mockingbirds, pintails, moorhens, pied-billed grebes and frigate birds swooping down to the water to fish. The trail is abundant with flora and fauna. The view from the 2400 foot summit will take your breath away. While visiting the highlands you also will be treated to the remarkable view of San Cristobal Island's Eastern shore including Punta Pitt, Puerto Chino and El Pescador.
The walk from the beach to the Media cone Moon is about 5 Km , it is important to note that the minimum hike takes 3 1/2 hours round trip ; the site is good because you can see Galapagos tortoises in their natural environment .
The city tour will start at the Plaza San Sebastian, which constitutes the western colonial border of the city of Cuenca. Then visit the modern arts museum where many contemporary artworks are displayed. We will walk by the downtown historical area to visit the San Francisco market, the flower market, the culture house, the Abdon Calderon Park, and the old cathedral (we will not enter). We will enter in the New Cathedral, it’s the biggest in the country there we’ll observe the famous gold leaf canopy.
We continue the tour to the Homero Ortega Panama Hat factory to observe the complete process of manufacturing of the Panama hat which is undoubtedly most important to our country. Later we will visit the “barranco” with its colonial style terraced houses located next to the “Tomebamba River”. Also we will also observe the “broken bridge” and finally visit the tourist balcony of “Turi” where we can see a panoramic view of the whole city of Cuenca. Then return to the Hotel.
It is a spectacular place to hiking, swimming, enjoy snorkeling. On this island you can see (among other Palo Santo trees, colonies footed boobies blue (they perform their mating dance in the open Island) areas. Colorful seagulls sitting on the edges of cliffs and admire numerous frigate birds in their nests.
Across the island, and as the waves crash on the rocks, you can also appreciate mischievous sea lions playing and surfing in the sea. North Seymour is mostly flat and arid, with some vegetation that includes cactus, rosewood and salt bushes. The area of the islands is approximately 1.9 square kilometers and a maximum altitude of 28 meters North Seymour Island is located near the Island Baltra (this is the island where you arrive and leave Galapagos).
North Seymour is formed by a lifting its lava rock base under Ocean. Seymour is separated from Baltra Island for small canal. Seymour Island is best known as "Seymour Norte", while the Isla Baltra is Island also known as "South Seymour”.
The tour begins with a transfer to the village of San Bartolome where we visit the church, central park, a typical house in the area and their gardens full of medicinal plants. Taste a cup of coffee or aromatic waters from the garden of the house, accompanied by the "delicate" bread made from brown sugar.
During this tour we see straw hats being made and visit a small workshop of guitars.
Also we visit the Chordeleg, famous for its handicrafts in gold, silver, filigree, wood, ceramics, etc. We will visit the main square and have time for shopping.
Continuing the tour, we go to the canton of Gualaceo, where we visit two markets: fruit and typical food.
Have lunch at a beautiful old hacienda.
The tour ends with a visit to a craft workshop where they make the famous "Macanas" or houses, typical dress of our "Chola Cuencana" where artisans will explain the process of making these beautiful and unique fabrics.
Throughout WWI transport ships sailed around the Galapagos Islands. It was right outside the harbor of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno that the WWI German transport ship Caragua sank 100 years ago. At the wreck site a reef-like environment has been created. Scuba divers will be exposed to stingrays, nudibranches, corals, schools of fish, rays and sea lions. This remains one of the few wreck dives in Galapagos. The wreck is approximately 300 feet long and you can inspect the ship's remains including the propellers and boilers.

Bartolome Island has the most spectacular landscapes Archipelago. This whole island is without doubt the most photographed in all the Galapagos Islands. Upon arrival, you have to climb a staircase Wood to the summit to see a spectacular landscape of two beautiful bays and observe fascinating formations of lava and volcanic cones.
You must walk about 600 meters to reach the top, volcanic craters and lava tubes along the way you will give the impression that you are walking on the moon. The hike to the summit takes about 30-40 minutes. Many people and scientists they have dubbed Bartolome Island with the name of the guide geology because this Island it has a peculiar volcanic origin.
When you reach the top of Bartolome you will have one of the best panoramic views the Galapagos Islands. From there you can see the Santiago Island, North Seymour, Baltra Island, Santa Cruz and Rabida Island. The biggest attraction of this island is known as Pinnacle Rock. This is a huge training black lava that has eroded over time. It was created as a result of a volcanic eruption and when the hot lava reached the ocean It was cooling forming a striking rock composed of thin layers Near Pinnacle Rock you can also see two beautiful beaches in a half moon.
