On this tour we go through the main markets of the city; starting with the Animal Market considered the biggest animal market in the south of Ecuador.
It will be possible to observe the way in which animals are negotiated: cows, pigs, llamas, sheep, among others. Also, the already-forgotten “barter” will be explained and observed.
Afterward, we will visit the 10 de Agosto market, a mixture of the traditional and the modern. Lunch. Visit Rotary Market (Sangurima Plaza), a crafts market in ceramic and wood.
Visit the city’s Historic Center. We visit the most predominant places in the city: colonial houses, balconies, important buildings of the city, and archeological ruins inside the city.
Make a stop for lunch and visit Old Cathedral, Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Central Park and Barranco area before returning to the hotel.
We will go to the west of the city of Cuenca to the Cajas National Park. This park has an area of 29 hectares where there are 230 lakes of different sizes. It is at a height between 3000 and 4500 m (9,843 to 14,764 feet). It is one of the largest reserves of water that has the country. It is characterized by its beautiful landscape of desert, rain forest, polylepis forest, tall vegetation and a variety of birds and mammals. Once in the park we will walk for 3-4 hours around the Laguna La Toreadora. We will also see the gaps in Burin and Luspa. Then we climb the hill San Luis, as the main viewpoint to appreciate the beautiful scenery around the park. Then we spoil you with a delicious lunch
You will be picked up at the hotel at the agreed time. After that will be transferred to the El Cajas National Park, where you can observe the natural beauty of its mountains, lakes and forest quinoa. If required, you can visit the Garden of the Virgin of Cajas, famous for the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to late 90s.
Enjoy a short walk along the Laguna La Toreadora and the visit to the bottom of the park, called Llaviucu, ideal place to observe birds is performed.After we will return to Cuenca.
From Cuenca we moved to the Cajas National Park to the area Horse Shayana where we say goodbye to our driver. At the end of fishing tourists receive lunch and then be transferred back to Cuenca.
The tour begins with a transfer to the village of San Bartolome where we visit the church, central park, a typical house in the area and their gardens full of medicinal plants. Taste a cup of coffee or aromatic waters from the garden of the house, accompanied by the "delicate" bread made from brown sugar.
During this tour we see straw hats being made and visit a small workshop of guitars.
Also we visit the Chordeleg, famous for its handicrafts in gold, silver, filigree, wood, ceramics, etc. We will visit the main square and have time for shopping.
Continuing the tour, we go to the canton of Gualaceo, where we visit two markets: fruit and typical food.
Have lunch at a beautiful old hacienda.
The tour ends with a visit to a craft workshop where they make the famous "Macanas" or houses, typical dress of our "Chola Cuencana" where artisans will explain the process of making these beautiful and unique fabrics.
We start to Ingapirca, during the trip the tourists will have the opportunity to observe craftsmen engaged in weaving straw shawl. Arriving at Ingapirca will walk for about two hours through the archaeological complex that covers an approximate area of four hectares where several buildings and evidence of other nature as found: The Ellipse, Aposentos Annexes, La Plaza or court, La Condamine , Wineries, among others.

In Chordeleg you may see the production of fine filigree jewellery and handmade pottery. While in Gualaceo you will have the opportunity to stroll through the market of fruit and vegetables full of fresh produce and a visit to the workshop of Macanas with ikat technique (ancestral technique).
We will go early in the morning to Alausi town where the railroad station, where we board the train or rail car for the most exciting train ride section is: the decline in Alausí to Sibambe by the ravines of the Devil's Nose, this descent is possible through a series of switchbacks up the steep hillside. Then we visit the most important archeological complex of Inca Cañari- Ecuador: Ingapirca means ""Wall or Wall of the Inca"". The resort features patios, terraces, temples and a ""castle"". The day begins with the trip to the Cajas National Park, where you can observe the natural beauty of its mountains, lagoons and its quinoa forest. After lunch, return to Cuenca where you visit the main tourist attractions of the city: Calderon Park, Old and New Cathedral as well as the Barranco, Puente Roto, a hat factory.
