The XI MEDIEVAL FAIR OF SILVES will take palce between the 8th and the 17th of August 2014. The Centre of the City will be filled with Historical Recreations, Jousting, Animals, Dancing, Parades; Crafts and Cuisine, that will give a special sparkle and colour to the city.

Comienza el tour en la histórica y vibrante ciudad de Lagos, situada en la costa occidental del Algarve. Famosa por sus playas, rico centro histórico y animada vida nocturna, Lagos ha sabido conservar su carácter y encanto con el paso de los años y se ha ganado el respeto de todos sus visitantes. Aquí haremos una parada en la Iglesia de San Antonio, reconocida como monumento nacional por ser la mejor iglesia de Portugal. Admira una obra maestra del Barroco, llena de espectaculares pinturas, intrincadas tallas de madera y azulejos blancos y azules.
Sé testigo de una parte crucial de la historia al visitar el lugar donde se asentó el primer mercado de esclavos en Europa en 1444. Sigue las huellas de los primeros esclavos africanos que llegaron al continente para ser comprados y vendidos con el beneplácito de gran parte de la sociedad.
Observa la Ponta da Piedade, donde encontrarás montones de pequeñas grutas, cuevas y arcos naturales esculpidos en los acantilados a lo largo de cientos y cientos de años.
A continuación nos dirigiremos a Sagres, un paraíso virgen y remoto sólo alterado por los constantes vientos. Relájate en una atmósfera de lo más tranquila y contempla el movimiento de su puerto pesquero sin perder de vista el pintoresco paisaje al que da lugar una de las mejores playas del Algarve.
En nuestra última parada visitaremos el faro más potente de Europa, ubicado en la pintoresca ciudad de Cabo de San Vicente; un lugar idílico perfecto para poner fin a nuestro recorrido.

A popular excursion of the entire island, this is a tour that takes you to explore the diverse nature of Madeira’s landscapes in just one day. Visit the quaint fishing village of Camara de Lobos and the pretty Ribeira Brava and travel through the lush valley region to the Encumeada mountain pass which takes you 1007m above sea level. As we drive along, panoramic views over the north and south coast unfold before you; transporting you to the heart of tropical Madeira.
We descend from high ground to the rugged north coast towards Porto Moniz, famed for its volcanic rock swimming pools, passing through São Vicente and Seixal with a stop for lunch. From here it’s time to climb the mountains to Paúl da Serra and descend back down to the south west coast to Calheta and Ponta do Sol. The tour ends on a high note at the towering cliffs of Cabo Girão - the second highest in the world!
