We kick start our Kobe sightseeing tour with an hour-long stroll through the fascinating Kitano Ijinkan district; home to international diplomats, this 19th century neighbourhood overlooks downtown Kobe and is a great starting point for getting to know the city with your guide.
Afterwards, we take a rest and enjoy a Japanese and Western-style buffet lunch in ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe before we head to Meriken Park, a picturesque area by the waterfront. Built on reclaimed land, the park features many unique artworks for you to admire. Next we board the train from Sannomiya Station to Sumiyoshi Station (note that there is no reserved seating) ready for our Japanese Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Tour. You’ll spend the next hour learning about traditional sake making methods and history in the famous brewing town of Nada, where at the end of the visit you’ll get to taste the sake for yourself.
