Our day starts early, at Battery Park. With priority boarding you’ll be one of the first people aboard one of the first boats to Liberty Island. Snag the best seats for a stunning ride across the water and get to know your guide a little. Once docked, they’ll lead you on a tour of the island and on to the great lady of NYC – the Statue of Liberty. It’s back aboard the ferry then for the short ride to Ellis Island. Walk the Stairs of Separation and get a feel for how it must have felt for lovers and families as they awaited their fate – and the start of a new life in land of the free.
Your guide will walk you through the fantastic exhibits of the Ellis Island Museum, answering any questions you may have. This is where the first part of your tour ends, and with 2.5 – 3 hours before the next leg of our Lower Manhattan journey, you have plenty of time to spare. Spend a little while more on Ellis Island if you like, before hopping on the ferry back to Battery Park (included in the price) and getting lunch on your way to the meeting point for our afternoon activity – a complete One World Observatory & World Trade Centre Tour.

Stroll the streets of New York’s oldest neighborhood as we retrace the steps of one of our greatest locals and founding father, Mr. Alexander Hamilton. Discover how Wall Street, the Stock Exchange, and our financial system began with this young immigrant. We’ll end with a pint at his favorite tavern. Our adventure begins at Trinity Church, where Hamilton was buried as a result of one of the darkest days in American political history. Learn how Hamilton arrived in America on the eve of a revolution and quickly became one of the most influential minds of his day, only to be shot dead before his 50th birthday.
We’ll stop by Zuccotti Park and uncover how more recent revolutionary movements like Occupy Wall Street trace their roots to Hamilton’s ambitious plans for American prosperity.
Next, we’ll learn how Hamilton’s role as America’s first Secretary of the Treasury ultimately led to the creation of the New York Stock Exchange. Across the street sits Federal Hall, where Hamilton looked on as George Washington was sworn in as our nation's’ first president and where he served in the first cabinet.
We’ll then check out the two Wall Street skyscrapers that still stand as reminders of the epic feud between Hamilton and Burr, one emblazoned with the name of one of our more recent politicians and local celebrities, Donald Trump.
Finally, we’ll make our way down the first paved street in New York City to one of the oldest bars in town where Hamilton himself used to drink with George Washington, and we’ll raise our own glass to freedom and to Hamilton.
Along the entire route we will discover not only Hamilton’s history in New York but also how he came to epitomize the American Dream, created the modern world we live in today, inspired many of our wealthy leaders who continue to shape the city and world, and finally, how he wrestled with the questions of wealth, privilege, and power in ways that are just as relevant today as they were in the 1700s.

Pretty epic feeling, right? While you’re soaking it all in, you’ll learn about the evolution of Broadway and how theater transformed Times Square from the middle of nowhere to one of the most famous destinations in the world. Finally, our New York City tour will lead you to one of the best spots to get away from the crowds. Here, we’ll grab a local artisan meal or dessert before heading to our very last stop, our favorite craft beer bar in the neighborhood. You won’t believe this cozy bar, tucked away, up the block from all of the chaos of the Midtown crowds. Most visitors to NYC don’t realize there are loads of hidden indie shops tucked away throughout Midtown, so we’re going to give you the local treatment and stop in at a few. You’ll find out where to get the best food in Midtown so you’re not suck eating at mediocre chain restaurants.
Our Midtown tour will end with a pint of local craft beer at one of our favorite bars — which is great preparation for our last activity of the day: a cocktail tour!
To finish off our total NYC tour, we’ll head to the East Village, one of the main nightlife districts, to visit some of the best cocktail bars in the city. We’ll explore historic and modern speakeasies and talk about the history of the cocktail, prohibition, and gangsters. Finally, we’ll delve into the more recent craft cocktail movement that has taken the city by storm and created the best cocktail culture in the world, right here in NYC.
We’ll stop at three different bars and have a cocktail at each, and by the end of it all you’ll be ready to head into the New York City night and dance until dawn! (If you’re not exhausted from so much awesome touring, that is).
