Estación de Sants Barcelona

Day 1: Barcelona - Madrid by train.
Presentation at Barcelona “Sants” station. Departure by high speed AVE train to Madrid. Arrival to Madrid “Puerta de Atocha” station and transfer to hotel. Accommodation.

Day 2: Madrid - Cordoba - Seville.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to bus terminal, located in the underground parking of the Plaza de Oriente. Departure at 8:30am. Drive along La Mancha, Don Quixote’s land. Brief stop at typical site in Puerto Lapice. Cross through the natural border of “Despeñaperros” and get into Andalusia, a region for itself that shows and enormous heritage from a splendorous past. Reach Cordoba. Impressive tour of its Mosque and other sites that will ease our mind and spirit strolling through its narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, after a short two hours ride reach Seville. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 3: Seville.
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning panoramic city tour visiting: the exterior of the Cathedral (the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peters in Rome), Santa Cruz quarter (a natural scenario of “Carmen” as well as a precisely where the myth of “Don Juan” developed), Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. Afternoon at leisure for you to discover exclusive views, specific flavours of this active full of light city. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Optional Flamenco tour.

Day 4: Seville - Ronda - Costa Del Sol.
After breakfast at the hotel drive south passing typical villages. Reach Ronda; free time to admire this town of Celtic origin and the marvellous view of the valley and mountain range. In the afternoon continue on to the Costa del Sol, one of the most modern and important international tourist areas. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 5: Costa Del Sol - Granada.
Breakfast. Departure towards the city of Granada and its incredible and amazing monumental environment, last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms up to 1492. Visit the world famous Alhambra complex and Generalife Gardens that have inspired several authors with its sound and sights, such as the “Tales of the Alhambra” by W. Irving. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Optional Gipsy Flamenco show at Sacromonte quarter.

Day 6: Granada - Toledo - Madrid.
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive northward where it emerges, toward the sky of Castilla and surrounded by the Tagus river, the impressive Imperial city of Toledo –World Heritage City- where the three cultures Christians, Moorish and Jewish, have lived together. Resume of the Spanish art, history and spirituality the whole town is a National Monument. Shortguided tour of this historical old town throught its narrow streets. Then proceed with a visit to a famous “Damasquinado” (gold and silver inlaying in iron) factory.Continue to Madrid. End of our service.

Picasso and Barcelona have always gone hand in hand and that's why this tour will offer you the opportunity to discover the close tie between them. The Gothic Quarter and the Picasso Museum tour will make you enjoy the hidden places and the very best narrow streets of the city.

Façade of the Cathedral: The Gothic Cathedral was started in the 13th Century and finished 6 centuries later. We'll also show you the remains of the Roman Wall at Plaça Ramon Berenguer.

Picasso Museum (45 minutes guided visit + free time): Skip the line and be inspired by the first steps of Pablo Picasso as an artist. The museum will probably be the key to start knowing the development of this artist. You will find his full unfolding up to the Blue Period, an important representation of works from 1917, the series of Las Meninas (1957) and a comprehensive print collection. Housed in 5 medieval palaces and inaugurated in 1963 at the expressed wish of the artist, the museum has a collection of 4,200 pieces of art.

Plaça del Rei (King’s Square): a medieval marvel with the Tower of King Martí, 5 floors high which was built in 1555; Santa Àgata’s chapel (15th Century) and the Saló del Tinell (1359-1362). It is said that the Catholic monarchs, Fernando and Isabel, received Columbus here on his return from America.

Plaça Sant Jaume: This square is the centre of the city’s political activity with the City Hall facing the Palau de la Generalitat, the seat of the Autonomous Catalan Government. Historically, the city’s two major Roman roads crossed here: the Cardo and the Decumanus.

The tour will end at Plaça Sant Jaume in the Gothic Quarter. It is a 2 minute walk to La Rambla, so you can stay and wonder around or return to Plaça Catalunya. Our guide will give you all the orientations you may need.

Arc de Triomf

Here you will enjoy amazing buildings designed with great creativity by Gaudí, such as the Casa Batlló, and La Pedrera; all magnificent in their organic shapes.

Weave your way through the “Vila de Grácia” square, the city's true administrative and commercial centre, to marvel at the 33 meter bell tower, crowned with the famous bell known as the “Marieta”. Discover Casa Vicens considered one of the first buildings of Art Nouveau and the first house designed by Gaudí.

Sant Joan avenue will be the route to reach the area of the magnificent “Sagrada Familia” cathedral, one of the most famous landmarks in Barcelona, which has been under construction since 1883. The Basilica of “La Sagrada Familia” is considered to be the jewel in Barcelona’s architectural crown. From here you will return to the starting point.

Arc de Triomf

Meet your professional tour guide below the Arc de Triomf and get on your e-bike to start cruising the city. Your first stop is “Joaquim Pena” square, named after the musicologist and music critic symbol of the catalan music modernity. You will then arrive to the “Tetuán” square, named in honor to the battle between the Spanish and the Moroccan army. Admire stately buildings and then pass through the Parc Turó, one of Barcelona’s most iconic parks, to reach the square of “Sant Vicenç de Sarrià” one of the oldest sights of this neighborhood.

Arc de Triomf

Arc de Triomf

Depart from the Arc de Triomf one of the most famous monuments in Barcelona, you will ride along the Born cultural and Memorial Center. Stop in the Basilica of Santa María del Mar and Visit the most emblematic monuments in the Gothic Quarter; the centre of the old city of Barcelona.

On the way to “El Raval”, famous for its lively friendly atmosphere and vibrant social and cultural life, discover old churches and squares of past ages such as the Cathedral or the iconic Sant Jaume square, site of Barcelona’s City Hall.

Cycle down to “La Rambla del Raval” and take pictures with one of Barcelona’s most photographed sculptures “The Cat from the Raval” work of famous Fernando Botero.
