Summer is coming and Casa de les Punxes has new plans to enjoy its majestic roof (600m2) located in the central district of L'Eixample of Barcelona. What a better way of enjoying live music and gastronomy than in an attractive and central modernist monument?
Every Friday during this summer season, Casa de les Punxes will be full of good melodies, and musical performances related to jazz, jazz-fusion and other rhythms.
The admission includes:
Free visit to the terrace and its towers
Live music
A glass of cava
Two tapas courtesies of Matalaranyathe kitchen of the house, which will be serving cava and snacks.
Among the artists who will perform on the beautiful terrace of the building designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch is Carlos Sarduy, one of the main current references of Cuban jazz in Spain. The notes of his trumpet sound in the soundtracks of awarded ribbons like “La piel que habito” of Pedro Almodóvar or “Chico y Rita” of Fernando Trueba.
Duration: Show: 1 hour and 30 minutes. Visit to the terrace: 1 hour.
Start/opening time: The show starts at 8:30pm. Customers can join the visit to the terrace after or before the show.
End/closing time: The show ends at 10pm.
