Situated in the Hottentots Holland Nature Reserve, we have partnered with CapeNature to take you into a previously inaccessible and pristine part of this amazing World Heritage Site. Only one hour from Cape Town, we offer a fully guided adventure activity for nature enthusiasts of ages 5 to 75!
You will be collected from your hotel and transferred to the Game Reserve which is a 2.5 hr drive via vineyards, orchards and magnificent scenery. Upon arrival at the reserve you are welcomed with a chilled drink before being ushered through to the restaurant for a buffet breakfast. Around 10h15 you depart on a 2 – 3 hour open vehicle game drive through the reserve. Having been proclaimed a Nature Reserve in 1985, the ‘veld’ (terrain) is in pristine condition, consisting of Renoster veld, Mountain Fynbos and succulent vegetation types found in 3 beautiful valleys.
Situated in the Karoo with its wide open spaces, the 4,500 hectare reserve has a natural wetland and protected by majestic mountains and valleys, which makes for varied and ideal game viewing. On your drive you may see lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, as well as giraffe and hippo. Large herds of game are found on the Reserve such as Black Wildebeest, Burchell's Zebra, Springbok, Gemsbok, Steenbok, Blesbok, Bat Eared Fox, Ostriches, Klip Springer, Duiker, Greybuck, Baboon, Black Backed Jackal, Eland, Red Hartebeest.
The natural wetland is home to 172 species of birds and is also home to several breeding pairs of the rare and endangered black eagle, after which the reserve has been named. Following the game drive, you will have the opportunity to visit the ARC rehabilitation centre.
Here you will learn a bit more about the rescue and rehabilitation efforts the reserve plays in the area. After a well-deserved buffet lunch at the lodge’s main restaurant, you enjoy some time at leisure before starting your journey back to Cape Town. En route, you will stop at the Karoo Ostrich Farm for an informative and entertaining tour. Return to your hotel around 18h00.
This half day tour packs in the best Stellenbosch has to offer, with 2 wine tastings en route. For those guests who have limited time, but still want the unique experience of cycling though private vineyards, and along farm roads. The tour covers approximately 9km of cycling. It is a fully guided activity and includes bike & helmet rental, a snack pack (including bottled water, choc & peanuts/raisins).

Tu viaje por Ciudad del Cabo comienza con un paseo a lo largo de la costa Atlántica mientras te diriges al distrito segregado de Imizamo Yethu, donde te reunirás con un joven guía xhosa. Imizamo Yethu, también conocido como Mandela Park, es un asentamiento urbano con unas condiciones de vida difíciles. Conoce la realidad de este lugar y cómo se formó esta comunidad así como las mejoras que ha experimentado en los últimos años con la ayuda de un guía local, que te conducirá hasta el centro de la comunidad para que puedas visitar varios puestos de artesanía donde se venden artículos artesanales que podrás adquirir como recuerdo. Go on a unique interaction and experience the rich cultural diversity of the Langa Community, descendants of the Xhosa tribe. Features Stops on tour: We start with a rather intriguing tour of Gugasthebe Culture Centre, where a storytelling segment is given by a local community member.
Your host will then guide you on an entertaining walking tour giving you an insight into the historical Langa Heritage Museum (Dompass Museum) - an important gem of the little known, yet oldest Township in South Africa. The Graffiti tour; is an excellent way to discover art in other parts of the city. The Maboneng Township Arts Experience provides for an intimate, engaging and enjoyable interaction on art in the township. Next on the program is a visit to the gallery home of Dizu Plaatjies, founder and former leader of the South African group, Amampondo. At this stage of the tour, the guests will have an opportunity to interact and learn about a traditional Xhosa instrument.
We will then delve into exploring our uniquely curated home-residency of Velile Sohaand Mongezi Gum.
You will be picked up at your respective hotel or lodge in the city center by one of our wine lords.
Our first stop is Villiera wine estate, famous for its award winning Cap Classique wines (Champaign). Our guide takes you into the vineyard, walking you through the history of wine and the process of vine growing, you will then get taken “behind the scenes” for a cellar tour, learning the art of wine making. We then head back for an informative wine tasting experience, with your wine lord taking you through the steps of how to REALY appreciate wine. Other stunning wines will also be sampled along with Biltong (local dried cured meat) pairing.
Our next estate, situated in the Stellenbosch wine region, is Remhoogte estate. Famous for its award winning wines and stunning views of some of Africa’s wild life. Here we also do a cheese and wine pairing, where each cheese is meticulously chosen to pair with the wine.
For our third estate, we do a guided drive through tour of Stellenbosch (oldest town in SA) to a family run farm called Middelvlei. Surrounded by vineyards, here we enjoy a typical South African braai (barbeque) lunch and a taste of their unique wines.
From Middelvlei we head onto the unique Lovane estate with its basement cellar and exceptional wines. This is quite a favourite amongst our guests and totally of the beaten tourist track. We taste amazing wines as well as locally made chocolate.
The next wine estate is the very unpretentious Annandale, owned by legend Springbok rugby player and 5th generation wine maker, Hempies du Toit. With its world-class wines, one that was the official wine served at the Prince of Monaco’s wedding, and rustic cellar, Annandale is a favourite amongst many. Their rustic tasting room is filled with old photos, equipment and memorabilia. We end the day with brandy and dried fruit pairing!
Throughout the day we give out information on wine, history etc. but in return we post questions to our guests. We therefore also hand out a prize to the most knowledgeable guest of the day!
You will be dropped of by your wine lord, having seen amazing landscapes, tasted plenty wines, and most of all experienced the real culture of SA wine!

On this journey, guests pass by the Amy Biehl Memorial and Gugulethu Seven monument exploring rich history of Gugulethu - the pride of Cape Town formerly known as ‘Native Yard’- a Township best known for its vibrancy and liveliness. Here the visitors get the opportunity to explore the culture and vibrancy with the original Gallery Home owners of the Western Cape.
This is the place where the Maboneng Township Arts Experience hosts its annual public art festival. Also you may wish to enjoy a light traditional Xhosa lunch (food tasting). Also hear stories from a local jazz pioneer inside his residence. As he takes you through his photographic journey where you will explore how the different jazz artists interacted with their audiences.
Last stop on the tour is a visit to our Art and Leadership school. A hub space used to run mentorship program and where our dance classes happen.

Enjoy a unique interaction and experience the cultural diversity of the Cape Malay community, descendants of the original Malay slaves. The Malay Quarter is also known as the Bo-Kaap, meaning “Above Cape”, so called for being positioned up against the slopes of Table Mountain. In the early 18th century, a multitude of slaves from Java, Ceylon and other Far Eastern regions were brought to Cape Town. After slavery was eliminated, their descendants, known as the Cape Malays, settled here. The Bo-Kaap became an exclusive residential area for Cape Muslims during the Apartheid years, and is one of the city’s oldest areas. It occupies an enviable position in the City Bowl on the lower slopes of Signal Hill. This picturesque neighbourhood is filled with steep, cobbled streets and multi-coloured houses.
The tour starts outside the Bo-Kaap Museum in the heart of the Cape Malay Quarter. Relax in the sidecar of a classic, vintage World War II 750cc motorcycle and take in the spectacular scenic beauty of the False Bay coastline, whilst travelling through picturesque seaside villages. These motorcycles are rugged and reliable beauties that are produced by the Bavarian Motor Works and are still being manufactured more than 60 years after their debut. Whale spotting during calving season (July-November) is another highlight and dolphins may be seen year-round.
Visit the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens, located between mountain and sea, in the heart of the Cape Fynbos region within the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, where the flora is at its richest. In the gardens you will find mountain slopes, deep forested gorges, renowned waterfalls and amber pools, as well as dunes next to the beach. The gardens comprise ten hectares of cultivated fynbos garden and 190.5 hectares of pristine natural fynbos, and also offer several kilometres of nature trails.
Watch the endangered African Penguin colony at Stony Point near the seaside and fishing village of Betty’s Bay, sheltered by the Kogelberg Mountains on one side and looking out to the ocean on the other. Stony Point holds one of only two shore-based African Penguin breeding colonies in South Africa, and is home to one of the largest successful breeding colonies of African Penguin in the world. Watch these enthralling birds at play via a well-constructed wooden walkway, and enjoy the large colony of Cape Cormorants that also live in the area.
