Township Art Tour Experience

On this journey, guests pass by the Amy Biehl Memorial and Gugulethu Seven monument exploring rich history of Gugulethu - the pride of Cape Town formerly known as ‘Native Yard’- a Township best known for its vibrancy and liveliness. Here the visitors get the opportunity to explore the culture and vibrancy with the original Gallery Home owners of the Western Cape.

This is the place where the Maboneng Township Arts Experience hosts its annual public art festival. Also you may wish to enjoy a light traditional Xhosa lunch (food tasting). Also hear stories from a local jazz pioneer inside his residence. As he takes you through his photographic journey where you will explore how the different jazz artists interacted with their audiences.

Last stop on the tour is a visit to our Art and Leadership school. A hub space used to run mentorship program and where our dance classes happen.
