City tour of Iquitos including the Plaza de Armas (main square), the plaza 28 de Julio and Palacio de Justicia. On the way back, pass by the local market and the Casa de Hierro (iron house) designed by Gustave Eiffel. Proceed to the Quistococha lagoon, botanical park and zoo to admire the rainforest flora and fauna. Finally, we will visit the Amazonian rescue center (CREA), which is focused in developing a recovery project of the Amazonian Manatee. This organization is in charge of rehabilitating confiscated species that come from the illegal trafficking to release them in the wild.
You will transfer to Quistococha, where you will visit the lagoon, the botanical garden and zoo. Here you will be able to admire the flora and fauna of the humid jungle. This area has an extension of 369 hectares. It possesses a natural lagoon of calm waters with an equipped beach of white sands. Likewise, inside the complex is located the zoo of the city, with representative fauna of the Amazonia Peruana.
This excursion will allow you to know the tourist attractions of the city such as: historical buildings and monuments, cultural- artistic exhibitions as well as appreciate beautiful landscapes. Iquitos is a prosperous, vibrant jungle metropolis teeming with the usual, inexplicably addictive Amazonian anomalies. Unadulterated jungle encroaches beyond town in full view of the air-conditioned, elegant bars and restaurants that flank the riverside; motorized tricycles whiz manically through the streets. Mud huts mingle with magnificent tiled mansions; tiny dugout canoes ply the water alongside colossal cruise ships.

Will be transferred from the hotel in Iquitos to the pier to board a boat that will take you to the wonderful Amazon Sinchicuy Lodge. Upon arrival you will be greeted with a welcome drink, and once you have landed will be in a beautiful tropical garden with an abundant variety of flowers, birds and butterflies.
Then visit the spacious "main house", where you can find the lobby, reception and the bar and dining areas. Connected by an elevated walkway is the panoramic "round house", a big space used for gatherings. Also know the other environments of the lodge: a living room with hammocks, a viewpoint to the river, kitchen, storage, laundry, restrooms and additional facilities. The tour includes lunch at the lodge and offers guides in both English and Spanish to make the most this experience.
