Join us on a trip to the cosmopolitan capital of the island. A perfect opportunity for you to explore the many sides of this pretty town. Whether its history and culture you enjoy or exploring the boutiques Kos Town has something for everybody. Our best family excursion!

Fun and entertainment for young and old, thanks to our talented animators, and a caring crew on board.

After departing at 10 ‘o clock from Mastichari, we head to magical places set in crystal clear waters. Games are started until we reach the first stop, the picturesque bay of Vlychadia.

There is time to swim, to relax, to play and to visit the small but impressive museum Valsamidis, private collection of a Kalymnian diver.

Lunch (simple but tasteful) is served on board around 12:30pm.

After lunch, we are heading to the islet of Nera, a secluded & wonderful bay. More games and swimming; families also have time to take a walk up the hill to the small church offering a unique view over the bay.

Later we sail around Nera, and discover Kefala, a green lagoon and a perfect opportunity to jump off the boat into the turquoise waters.

The day ends at 17 ‘o clock back in Mastichari.

Parents and children shared a special day, making the most of their time together and creating long lasting memories of their holiday in Kos!

An overview of the island, its picturesque villages, green landscapes, wild beaches, sacred temple of healing, The Asclepeion and its local flavours.

Of course Kos is famous for being the birthplace of Hippocrates (the father of the medicine) but there is so much more and we intend to introduce you to as much as possible.

REVERSED OPTION
Our first stop is the village of Kefalos. It is the most south-western village of the island and boasts some of the best beaches on Kos. Later we will visit a factory, where bee-keeping has been in the family for generations. You will discover how they make honey, taste the typical “loukoumades” (mini honey donuts) and discover “rakomelo” (liqueur made with raki and honey).

We then take the road to Antimachia, the village located in the middle of the island, next to the airport. The village boasts a 200 year old renovated windmill in the centre and also has a traditional house, showing how the locals used to live in years gone by.

After that we will visit the village of Zia. A small lively mountain village which provides the most superb views. Zia has recently become the hub of the local arts and crafts on the island and you will find many small shops selling items such as olive oil, honey, kanelada and pottery to name a few. In Zia you will have time to have lunch in one of the tavernas in the area.

The next stop will be at the Asklepion, an amazing archaeological find that will truly transport you back to ancient Greece. Constructed in the 3rd century BC, it was not only a temple consecrated to the God Asklepios (the God of Health), but also a health resort. After The Asklepion, we will make a stop in Kos town in order to wander around and maybe do some shopping. DISCOVER OPTION

A relaxing break involving swimming and a BBQ on a secluded beach with the Aegean sea as background. Then heading to the prestigious crater in Nissyros and walking the charming narrow streets of Mandraki.

Leaving Kefalos located in the south of Kos behind us, we are heading on a traditional fishing boat towards 2 picturesque islands. The first one: Agios Antonios is set just across from Giali where pumice is extracted and can only be reached by boat. After docking, guests can enjoy the beach and the clear shallow waters. There is also a small chapel on top of the hill that offers a nice panoramic view.

Lunch is served aboard before sailing to the next island. Nissyros is its name and is famous for its active volcano. The boat arrives in Mandraki, the capital of this small island that has kept a typical Greek charm. Buses are ready to take the guests up to the caldera which, with its 4 km width, is one of the biggest in Europe. The lunar landscape is unusual. Guests can go down by foot into the crater and discover the volcanic activity up close and personal: yellow crystals created by the sulphurous steam, holes in the bottom and the unmistakable odour of sulphur.

After this unique experience, buses will bring the guests back to the harbour and they will have free time to explore and enjoy the authentic Greek atmosphere. Some may want to go up to the monastery of Agia Spyliani to be amazed by the views that it offers. Others will prefer a stroll through its narrow streets.
