Take a relaxing odyssey around the islands off Lefkas' southeastern shores. Sailing from Nidri, your first stop is Papanakolis, a sea cave on the pine-covered islet of Meganissi. Grab the chance to dive into its electric blue waters, said to have been a submarine hideout in World War II. Then moor up in Spilia and walk up to the unspoilt village of Spartohori for soul-stirring views over the port below. After this, it's time for the beach, as your boat drops you at the bay of Atherinos. Here, your crew will prepare a delicious barbecue while you swim in the glassy waters or laze on the pebbles. Leaving Atherinos behind, you'll then cruise around Skorpios, an idyllic private islet owned by the famous Onassis family, with your guide explaining how Aristotle Onassis, the patriarch, made millions from humble beginnings. Take another swim here or relax on deck before sailing past the island of Madouri back to Nidri. Tuiuk only
Come sundown, one of the best places to be in Lefkas is Lefkas Town. The town becomes a magnet for strollers, shoppers and bar-hoppers and twinkles with tavernas, shops and harbour lights. On this trip we'll drop you in the centre, giving you an evening to soak up its attractions in your own way. See its quirky, confetti-coloured houses. Built after a devastating 1948 earthquake, many have wooden top storeys and metal roofs that give them a toytowny look. Tiptoe inside the Venetian churches to admire their icons and frescoes. Snap up goodies in the boutiques and gift shops and enjoy the views over the lagoon and new marina. And last but not least, sit at a café or traditional taverna in the square, enjoying the lively vibe and feasting on ‘meze' and ouzo. It's one of the most captivating towns in the Ionians so you're in for a magical evening. Tuiuk only
Here's a Greek dancing night with a difference. First off, catch a boat to Meganissi, a tiny, wooded island south of Lefkas. Once there, you'll stroll up to the quaint village of Spartohori and Lakis, a family-run taverna that's as Greek as Zorba himself. Cue free-flowing wine. And a delicious, home-cooked dinner kicked off by generous helpings of ‘mezes'. But the star turn is the dancing. Expect a whirlwind show as traditionally costumed dancers whip up the atmosphere to sweet bouzouki music. But the main act is still to come - when the mama of the family dances - wait for it - with a table on her head. You won't believe your eyes. And before long, you'll be joining in, linking arms and whirling to the infectious tunes. A fantastic night out and kids are welcome, too. Oh, and we'll arrange a taxi for you if you don't fancy the walk up to Spartohori. Tuiuk only
Enjoy a memorable day cruising to some of Lefkas' most beautiful beaches. Your boat will sail around the island from Nidri - slicing through glass-like waters, passing candy-coloured villages and stopping for swimming and sunbathing along the way. Your first stop is Agofili beach in the south. Cut into steep hills, it's a vision of white pebbles and crystalline seas. Then snap the dramatic views over Sappho's Leap, the cliffs where the poet Sappho jumped to her death in 570 BC. From there, it's on to Porto Katsiki, a cliff-framed beach that's drop-dead gorgeous. Bathe in its neon blue waters before mooring at nearby Egremni. You'll have a couple of hours for a picnic and swim at this stunning cove before heading for Milos - yet another beach beauty. After an hour here, it's time to just soak up the scenery as you sail past Lefkas Town and its bridge and back to Nidri. Bliss. Tuiuk only
