Pull on your uniform and get up to no good at our School Disco. Don't worry if you've spent all your pocket money :we've sorted out a two-hour free bar. We'll even throw a shirt and tie. You'll meet up with our reps at 9.30pm and head straight for the bar where the night's being held. Keep an eye on the clock :the free booze starts flowing at 10. There'll be a shedload of games naughty enough to make your old teachers weep, and the bell goes at midnight, when we'll drop you off at another drinking hole.
This tour will give you a taste of the real Turkey. The first stop, Gumusluk, is both a tiny fishing village and the site of ancient Myndos – you can clearly see some of the ruins underwater. It’s also got a 250-year-old church and a couple of coves to its name. Rabbit Island perches just offshore, joined to the village by a causeway. You’ll get the chance to slip off your shoes and wander along the underwater footpath, which showcases views across the sweeping bay. You’ll also meet the inhabitants – the lop-eared rabbits that gave name to the island. The next stop, Yalikavak, is the place to stock up on spices and local produce. The resident market is the largest in the region, and you’ll have free time to rummage through stalls piled with woven rugs and silver tea sets. You’ll also get the chance to visit a mosque and tea house before heading home via Turtle Lake.
There’s only one place to be on a Friday night in Bodrum – Ottoman Night, a show that rolls together Turkish dancing, folk music and a slap-up meal all in to one. Food-wise, meze is the theme. A huge helping of Turkish starters kicks things off, and it’s followed by chicken, rice or chips, and salad. The entertainment goes traditional, too. Musicians and whirling dervishes in traditional get-up take to the stage – but it’s the belly dancers who really steal the limelight. If you fancy it, they’ll get you up on stage to teach you how to belly-wriggle like a pro.
A gulet is the vessel of choice on this exclusive cruise – a traditional-look boat that’s all polished masts and lacquered sunbathing decks. It’s adults only on this trip, so expect a really laid-back feel. You could throw down a towel, crack open a book, or just watch the postcard-perfect Bodrum coastline drift by. The gulet will drop anchor for a few swim stops, so feel free to bring your own snorkel and mask along. When the lunch bell rings, a proper Turkish lunch of meatballs, meze and salad is laid out at the Captain’s table, plus you can take your pick from beer, wine or soft drinks at the open bar.
To see Bodrum’s best side, hop on this evening tour. Things start off with a double whammy of historical must-sees. Myndos Gate pinpoints the scene of the bloodiest battle of Alexander the Great, while the Bodrum Amphitheatre is a leftover from the Romans. With both, it’s sea views all the way. Just along the road is the bank-breaking Bodrum Gold Centre. This shop-come-showroom brims with ruby rings, emerald-studded necklaces and designer watches. A restaurant dinner rounds the evening off, followed by free time to wander the city centre.
Forget restaurant specials boards – you dictate the catch of the day on this trip. You’ll leave Altinkum harbour around 6pm and head into deep water on the Flying Fish boat. There’s radar onboard to help you locate the closest shoals. Depending on the depth of the water and what you’re catching, you can take your pick from the rods and reels. Bait your hook and wait for the likes of sea bream, sea bass and bonito to bite. There’s a bar onboard where you can buy cold beers to sip as you wait for the twitch of your lines. You’ll spend a couple of hours on the water and be back in time for dinner – hopefully a fish one that you can cook yourself.
Bodrum is famous one of the oldest town with its history and culture in Turkey. This half-day taster really shows you what Bodrum has to offer. Trip starts from windmills with a great sightseeing of both Bodrum and Gumbet bays.
Visiting the Myndos gate which belongs to the ancient city walls of Halicarnassus, takes you to the ancient times of Bodrum and than a brief glimps of the amphitheatre before hitting the modern part and shops of Bodrum.
Heading for the Sad?rvan restaurant to delight a delicious dinner and after that free time in the city center.
There is no holiday in Turkey without visiting a Turkish night. On this fun-filled evening, you'll get to experience a taster of Turkish culture. Oriental folklore music and dancers in colorful costumes moves you back to the times of the Ottoman Empire and keep your feet moving to the beat. Watch veiled belly dancers shimmy and shake as they wiggle their hips to hypnotic rhythms. It’s truly a night to remember.
Even though the Bodrum Peninsula is surrounded by water on three sides, it’s surprising how little sport or recreational fishing opportunities there are available. If you’re an avid angler, and fancy a chuck (for those of us not in the “Reel” world – that’s a cast!) you don’t actually have a lot of venue choices. Actually, you’re limited to one.
Most of the excursion companies around the Peninsula offer “Fishing Trips”, but the only location available is Torba.
This is by no means a sports fishing excursion, it is more of a relaxing day, aimed at the part-time or novice angler. But if you are hankering for a little bit of aquatic “Man vs. Wild” – this trip could be for you.
There is no better way to spend your day than relaxing on a traditional turkish gulet boat. When you are not topping up your tan , grab a mask and snorkel and leap into clear waters for a relaxing swim . This is a great family day out that the little ones will enjoy just as much as you.
This trip combines family fun with a beach-hopping cruise. Sailing from Gumbet in a traditional gulet, you’ll glide over the Aegean past golden beaches, big hotels and tiny inlets. Kick back on deck as you feel the stresses slip away. Enjoy the cooling sea breezes as the sun gently bronzes your body.

You’re after a great night out, Dream Girls is for you. It’s a glitzy drag show that’s been playing to full houses since 2002. And this dinner-and-show trip is a treat. When you arrive at the venue, the fun will start. Cue hilarious songs and spoofs drawn from the last 30 years of pop and musical hits. Clap along to takes on Abba and tunes from Tina Turner all belted out by the sequin-clad ‘girls’.
Wrapping things up is a grand finale that’s all feathers, fluttering eyelashes and flamboyance. If you’re up for an encore, there are two different shows rotating week-by-week, so can visit twice if you’re here for a fortnight. It’s worth noting that the show’s humour is a bit ‘blue’, so it may not be suitable for young children. It’s glitzy drag show that’s been playing to full houses for years. Cue extravagant feather, sequined frocksand a hit parade of pop and show tune classic.
