Forget restaurant specials boards – you dictate the catch of the day on this trip. You’ll leave Altinkum harbour around 6pm and head into deep water on the Flying Fish boat. There’s radar onboard to help you locate the closest shoals. Depending on the depth of the water and what you’re catching, you can take your pick from the rods and reels. Bait your hook and wait for the likes of sea bream, sea bass and bonito to bite. There’s a bar onboard where you can buy cold beers to sip as you wait for the twitch of your lines. You’ll spend a couple of hours on the water and be back in time for dinner – hopefully a fish one that you can cook yourself.
