Overcome above a mountain pass from Omiš and admire the unique view which opens to you. Here you can take a daring view of the deep gorge of the river Cetina, and admire the view over the town of Omiš and the quiet coast. Downstream, take small boats and go with the flow to a riverside restaurant. Here you will be pampered with local delicacies prepared in the traditional manner. Tender meat and indescribably Savory potatoes under the iron bell (clay pot) you expect along with homemade cakes.
After the excellent meal, explore the former pirate town of Omiš. On one hand, awesome by his imposing appearance, but on the other hand demanding and tempting, you will get to know this city under the cliff at the mouth of the Cetina River. Do not let the parish church of the city escaping, which was dedicated to the Archangel Michael. We drive through the picturesque landscape of the Dalmatian hinterland and Lika and at about midday we arrive in the centre of the Plitvice Lakes, which are considered to be one of the most beautiful natural phenomena in the world. Sixteen lakes situated in thick forrest are connected by92 waterfalls and cascade down the Korana River and form unique surroundings.
Particular attractions are a few caves and the rich diversity of flora and fauna. The Plitvice Lakes were declared a national park in 1949 and since 1979 have been under UNESCO protection. The tour of the park lasts about two and a half hours along with walking includes a boat trip on Lake Kozjak. Hvar gained glory and power during middle ages being an important port within the Venetian, naval empire. Today, it is centre of island’s tourism and one of the favourite destinations in Dalmatian riviera - a town of smiling and courteous people, who are almost only dedicated to tourism. Island Brac, the largest island of the central Dalmatian group of islands, the third largest among the Adriatic islands; area 394.57 sq km; population 13,824. It is separated from the mainland by the Brac Channel, from the island of Solta by the so-called Splitska Vrata (Split Gate) and from the Island of Hvar by the Hvar Channel.
The Klis Fortress, one of the most significant fortifications in Croatia, due to its strategic importance had a significant defence position. From the 2nd century BC this area was inhabited by the Illyrian tribe of Delmati, while the first records about the fortress from the 10th century speak of the Roman Fortress Kleisa being besieged by the Avars and Slavs, which hastened the conquering of Salona in the first half of the 7th century at the time of arrival of the Croats. Two centuries later, Klis had already become the ruler's property and one of the centres of the Croatian state.

Meeting point is in front of the Tourist Board office in Strožanac (Podstrana).We going to the old village of Gata on mountain Mosor (approx. 30 minutes) where we will have bicycles waiting for us.
But before starting our tour we will be shortly checking out the nearby 15th century ruins of the old village of Gata, the centre of former Poljica Republic, very important part of middle Dalmatian history.
From here we are starting our bike tour and driving through Dubrava on the asphalt road all the way to the place Sitno Gornje, where the terrain road (macadam) starts and leads us from villages Lolici – Mihanovici – Žrnovnica. From Žrnovnica we drive by the river Žrnovnica all the way to the sea, in Strožanac.

Zadvarje is a village and a municipality in the Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia. It has a population of 277 (2001 census), 97% of which are Croats. The only settlement in Zadvarje municipality is Zadvarje itself.
When in Croatia, there is a perfect opportunity to bound the love towards the sea with the one towards the mountains. Floating on the surface of one of the clearest seas of the world, while looking up to the Perun hill, mountains Mosor and Kozjak is the one thing we would like all Croatian visitors to experience.
We start our trip from hotel Split in Strožanac/Podstrana, from where we enter the flow of river Žrnovnica and follow it all until the first fall. From there the trip continues towards Stobrec, passing beside the local beach and lighthouse, continuing to the further and remote areas with wonderful areas reachable only from the sea.
After around hour and 15 minutes we are reaching our refreshment spot on the beach, where we will take a break for 30 – 45 minutes and relax while swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. After energizing ourselves we return pedaling back to Hotel Split.
