Meeting point is in front of the Tourist Board office in Strožanac (Podstrana).We going to the old village of Gata on mountain Mosor (approx. 30 minutes) where we will have bicycles waiting for us.
But before starting our tour we will be shortly checking out the nearby 15th century ruins of the old village of Gata, the centre of former Poljica Republic, very important part of middle Dalmatian history.
From here we are starting our bike tour and driving through Dubrava on the asphalt road all the way to the place Sitno Gornje, where the terrain road (macadam) starts and leads us from villages Lolici – Mihanovici – Žrnovnica. From Žrnovnica we drive by the river Žrnovnica all the way to the sea, in Strožanac.
This biking tour takes us through wonderful sceneries of nature, old villages, churches, mountain views and sea views, combining sport and cultural enthusiasts to enjoy both of their passions, accompanied by the abundant history lecture presented from your tour guide. Dubrava (beneath the Mosor mountain).
Meeting/pick-up point: Trg republic, in front of the hotel Bellevue.
Duration: 3 - 3.5 hours.
