This museum is the first in China to collect and exhibit ancient beds of the Jiangnan area, some of which date back to the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
A handicraft for which Wuzhen is famous for is the production of their flower printed blue cloth. With a history of over 1000 years, local people still follow the traditional techniques of printing and dyeing the embossed blue cloth. Many examples of delicate woodcarving can be found at the Jiangnan Woodcarving Hall. It was formerly the home of the Xu family in Dongzha.
