Board the train and visit the northern part of peninsula Istria where you'll visit three of many famous Istrian wineries where you can enjoy the atmosphere of home in which the wine takes a special place. Making wine is Istrian way of life that for centuries proudly passes on from generation to generation.

Arenzana was a narrow gauge railroad connecting the town of Porec to Trieste. The name Parenzana arrives from Parenzo, the italian name for Porec.
The entire railroad was 123 chilometrs long conncectin not only Porec and Trieste but also 33 minor towns and villages along the way. This adventure will take us along the most beautiful part of the old railroad, from the hill town Grožnjan to Livade in the valley of the Mirna river.
Transfer to Buje where we'll start biking (on macadam) on Parenzana. Passing through magnificent rolling landscapes and lively Istrian vineyards, it will became obvious why it was also called railway of the wine.
After arriving in the village Livade we'll continue riding along the Mirna river to Ponto Porton where our adventure will end. Tansfer to Poreè.
Path is adapted to all ages. It starts from the pictouresque Istrian town Buzet and follows the riverbed. Passing through Kotli village, visiting old mill In the village Benèiæi now abandoned,you will see traditional stone houses.
Trail is climbing towards the Hum the smallest town in the world with 24 inhibitants, which is located on a hill that offers breathtaking views of the countryside and Ucka mountain.
After breakfast around 9 am short transfer with bus/minibus to Buzet where the trip starts.
Trail is 12 km long and it takes around 4 hours to walk it.
After walking some free time in Hum you will return and transfer back.

Our trail starts in the “artists town” of Groznjan. This medieval town is a real sight, full of churches, old walls, forts and monuments, all preserved in a great condition. As we stroll along, taking in all the views as we go, take note of all the local artists in the streets with their independent exhibits and unique pieces of street art.
The trail continues on to the perfect serene path, in the middle of nature and the countryside. Passing by the Ucka Mountain, a limestone massif surrounded by lush vegetations including forests full of sweet chestnuts. Contemplate the rushing river Mirna and the comforting sound of trickling water. This walk is perfect to let your mind wander and just appreciate the little things in life.
Our destination is the historical and cultural hub, Oprtalj, the key place to observe folklore and tradition in its natural state. This historical town is protected by ancient fort walls and is built around a precious bell tower. Discover the Istrian architecture, walk down the stone streets and get involved with the everyday life in the squares. Enjoy some free time to explore this ancient town before returning by minibus.
Rijeka is a multicultural heart of Europe that meets all people of good will with its arms wide open. That is the city to be seen when looking down from Trsat Castle! The castle’s history dates back to prehistoric times and the Illyrian tribe of Iapydes, followed by the Romans who built their fort there as well, and many other sovereigns who left their unique traces in this magnificent fortification.

Travel back in time to the days when togas were all the rage. Pula is to Croatia what Rome is to Italy. There’s no hiding the city’s main attraction – an enormous Roman amphitheatre.
Reminiscent of the Colosseum in Rome, just wandering around its mighty Roman walls conjures images of gladiators doing battle in the dust. It’s the biggest theatre of its kind in the world. But before you stop to gaze at its centuries-old arches, you’ll explore the Istrian peninsula.

The charm and beauty of Bale, its adorable alleys, the scent of the sea intermingled with that of the traditional in Mediterranean flora or just a positive vibe that reigns over this whole place, all these things are there to be experienced. Bale is a small picturesque town dating from the Roman period boasts a high number of points of interest. The main sight in the preserved old town core is the Sorado –Bembo palace with its recently renovated facade. It is arguably one of the most beautiful old structures in Bale. One should by no means underestimate the beauty of the Parish Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s Homage to Saint Elisabeth.
After visiting Bale we continue towards Rovinj, one of the most 'photogenic' towns in the Mediterranean, once a fishing town, today known as "little Venice". Feel the enchantment of its narrow medieval streets and warm Mediterranean setting. The main Church of St. Euphemia, located on a hill in the middle of the old town keeps relics of the saint and presents one of the most beautiful Baroque achievements in Istria. You can enjoy is a wonderful view of the open sea and numerous islets in the distance.
After the history comes something more relaxing. We'll take you to an agro tourism where you will be welcomed by the host with an istrian grappa and you will taste and enjoy the tipycal istrian dishes with homemade bread and wine.
Then we drive forward to Grožnjan. You’ll check out the amazing ‘village in the clouds’ – a hilltop town that stands in a candy-floss swirl of white. Admire the sun-dappled olive groves that make this place seem more Tuscan than Croatian. Grožnjan is a town of artists, with numerous art galleries offering original souvenirs made from various materials. After a relaxing stroll there, we will take you back to your accommodation
Discover the beauty of “Green Istria”, hidden from everyday bustle in its lowlands encompassed by forests and hills”. Legend has it that, not so long ago in the valley of river Mirna, lived giants who were so tall they could pass on tools from hand to hand and large stones to build numerous settlements on hills!
Motovun is a heritage settlement, situated 277 m on a hilltop, fortified by mighty bulwarks and whose inner core guards a rich cultural-historical heritage from the 12th century. After Motovun, we shall visit the small town of Oprtalj situated on a hill and accessible by a narrow plateau, however, a very picturesque village in northern Istria! At some time in the past, this was a fortified settlement and now only the settlement gateway is visible. Every stone one steps on emanates its historical spirit, each perfectly set in place to create a perfect picture which, in its silence, enriches visitors of tales from the past.
Our stroll ends in a beautiful ambience of a local tavern where we shall have the pleasure of tasting indigenous Istrian delicacies!
Slovenia’s Lake Bled is truly stunning. Set in a pine forest with a mountain scenery backdrop, Lake Bled is can't-believe-your-eyes-pretty and it rightfully deserves its name as ‘’the Pearl of Alps’’. All snow-capped mountains and glass-like waters, its home to Slovenia's only island - and there's more than a touch of the Austrian Alps about it.
In fact at first glance you'll think you've stepped into a scene from the Sound of Music. Think enchanted forests, toy town houses and a fairytale church. To get the best view, you'll visit Bled castle - you can see right across the lake from here. But spare some attention for the chateau itself. With its cone-shaped turrets, yard-thick walls and lofty parapets it's something special.
Back on the shore, you pile into a rowing boat to glide over to the tiny island church. Legend has it if you make a wish as you ring the church bell, your wish just might come true.
Connected by waterfalls, circled by forest and crisscrossed with wooden-bridges, the Plitvice Lakes is a nature lover’s dream!
The striking Plitvice Lakes inscribed on the UNESCO’s World Heritage list are Croatia’s miracle of Nature. Check out the 250-foot waterfall at the lower lakes. Wander along the boardwalks and bridges. And take a boat trip across Lake Kozjak, the biggest stretch of water here. Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of the oldest national parks. The national park was founded in 1949 and is situated in the mountainous karst area of central Croatia, at the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The important north-south road connection, which passes through the national park area, connects the Croatian inland with the Adriatic coastal region.
The protected area extends over 296.85 square kilometers (73,350 acres). About 90% of this area is part of Lika-Senj County, while the remaining 10% is part of Karlovac County.
Each year, more than 1.1 million visitors are recorded.
Porec is a place where you can learn from the historical monuments, read from the facades and stone paved streets from the Roman era.
The whole old city of Porec is monument of culture. The old city has preserved the structure of old Roman castrum. The main streets, Decumanus and Cardo Maximus, are still preserved in their original forms. Decumanus connected the square Marafor in the western part of old city with city gates at its eastern end. Roman Forum with temples to Roman gods was located on the Marafor square.
There is still today a Romanic house and a few beautiful Venetian gothic palaces. The Istrian Assembly Hall, originally a 13th century gothic Franciscan church, was remade in baroque style in the 18th century. Porec was surrounded with fortification walls from 12th to 19th century. Three defense towers still exist at the entrance of the old city.
The most important cultural monument of Porec is the complex of Euphrasian Basilica dating from the 5th century. The original church was extended in the 6th century under Byzantine Empire and bishop Euphrasius. The interior of the basilica is ornamented with unique mosaics. From 1997 Eufrasius basilica is protected by UNESCO as a world heritage site.
