Walk the most charming 12km trail through the countryside, starting in the picturesque town of Groznjan and finishing with free time in Oprtalj. There is nothing more relaxing nor beautiful

Our trail starts in the “artists town” of Groznjan. This medieval town is a real sight, full of churches, old walls, forts and monuments, all preserved in a great condition. As we stroll along, taking in all the views as we go, take note of all the local artists in the streets with their independent exhibits and unique pieces of street art.
The trail continues on to the perfect serene path, in the middle of nature and the countryside. Passing by the Ucka Mountain, a limestone massif surrounded by lush vegetations including forests full of sweet chestnuts. Contemplate the rushing river Mirna and the comforting sound of trickling water. This walk is perfect to let your mind wander and just appreciate the little things in life.
Our destination is the historical and cultural hub, Oprtalj, the key place to observe folklore and tradition in its natural state. This historical town is protected by ancient fort walls and is built around a precious bell tower. Discover the Istrian architecture, walk down the stone streets and get involved with the everyday life in the squares. Enjoy some free time to explore this ancient town before returning by minibus.
