In this magical place we will have lunch a typical dish of the region. After we have had lunch we will go to Ráquira, there you can transport toward the last century because it has colonial architecture with many colors which generates a unique magical environment of the region. This village is well known for its works in clay, woven, baskets, clothing, hammocks and gold- and silversmithing, we can explore the village and we can visit different handicrafts stores, at the end of the day we will go to villa de Leiva, where we will stay at night. Villa de Leyva is an amazing place full of history which makes happy travelers on each corner with its amazing colonial architecture. Just walking along the narrow streets with its stone floor to go slowly in any direction to find churches, convents and monasteries, enjoying a peaceful and wonderful atmosphere with a lot of magic, you can find a huge square; it will transport you immediately to the 17th century which will give you a unique experience. Here you will be delighted with big windows and wooden doors of colonial-style buildings. We will leave in the morning in a car to the ecological park La Periquera where we will enjoy nature walking down from the mountain to the river. Finally we will return to Villa de Leyva in order to have lunch (these adventure activities are optional). After we have had lunch we will do a tour by the Center historical visiting the main streets of Villa of Leyva, we will go to the Cathedral, Church of the Carmen, El maestro Acuña museum, prehistoric museum, House Juan of Castellanos, House of the first Congress, Real factory of liquors, Antonio Ricaurte museum, Antonio Nariño museum, Molina de la Mesopotamia, and El Carmen museum when we have finished the tour we will have time to know handicrafts stores. Night spent in Bogotá.
Day 4:
This day we will go to the base of the mountain by car, there you can find the huts of Iguaque, after we will walk to the moor. During this trekking you can breathe fresh and clean air, we will walk along trails with great biodiversity with different colors it is typical of the high Andean forest of the Colombian Andes. We will arrive to the Iguaque lake, which is a holy place for the Muisca mythology and one of the eight lakes that this cloudy and mysterious moor has (This activity is optional). This lake of glacial origin is guarded by hundreds of frailejones, it will be a wonderful and magical experience for you, we will have time to take photos, enjoy the landscapes and rest, then we will come back to villa de Leyva, where we will have lunch, after we will go to the tota lake. Night spent in Laguna de Tota Aquitania.

We will leave in the morning in a car to the ecological park La Periquera where we will enjoy nature walking down from the mountain to the river, when we arrive at waterfall the Periquera. Finally we will return to Villa de Leyva in order to have lunch. After we have had lunch we will go to a lake.

Allí se encontrará con grandes lagunas, extensos valles y una geografía única que lo convierten en uno de los atractivos más visitados en Colombia. Caminar por la Sierra Nevada del Cocuy, es adentrarse en la Aventura, en un lugar lleno de magia, de paisajes únicos, de superación personal, es un sitio escondido y protegido por más de veinte picos montañosos que velan celosamente su tranquilidad para que así sea por siempre.
Usted podrá ser parte de este lugar contemplando la majestuosidad del páramo de la cordillera Oriental con sus montañas nevadas y sus hermosos espejos de agua, que reflejan los pintorescos cielos en sus cristalinas aguas. No podrá distinguir donde el cielo termina para unirse con la tierra.
Después de vivir esta experiencia no volverá a ser la misma persona, sentirá que se ha superado así mismo al poder sobreponerse a todos los obstáculos que la montaña le impuso para obtener el permio de haber estado en un lugar realmente mágico y especial.
DÍA 1:
Recogeremos el cliente en el hotel y lo llevaremos al terminal de transporte junto con el guía para embarcar en un cómodo bus y salir parque nacional el cocuy: El bus saldrá sobre lae 19:00-20:00 horas, viajaremos aproximadamente 10 horas hasta llegar a Güican – Boyacá y pasaremos la noche en el bus.
DÍA 2:
En la madrugada después de disfrutar de un buen desayuno saldremos a Güicán Boyacá, donde haremos el registro en la oficina de Parques Nacionales. Luego tomaremos un vehículo que nos llevará hasta el refugio, una vez instalados Iniciaremos una pequeña caminata para hacer un buen proceso de aclimatación, una vez finalizada la aclimatación tomáremos una deliciosa cena y pasaremos la noche en el refugio.
DÍA 3:
En este día en horas de la madrugada, tomaremos un delicioso desayuno que nos brindara la energía necesaria para empezar el día, después nos prepararemos para hacer el intento de cumbre o llegar a borde de nieve del Ritak´uwa blanco, que es el pico nevado más alto de la Sierra Nevada del Cocuy, con 5340 m.s.n.m. el recorrido será un reto personal que pondrá a prueba su cuerpo y su mente, un vez cumplamos el objetivo del día, usted será testigo de que todo el esfuerzo valió la pena al observar uno de los lugares más maravillosos de Colombia. Para cumplir con los objetivos de este viaje dependeros de dos factores, el primero que las condiciones climáticas sean favorables durante la travesía, el segundo factor será nuestra actitud y determinación para hacer cumbre. Una vez que se logre el objetivo descenderemos al refugio donde nos espera una deliciosa comida para luego descansar
DÍA 4:
En La mañana de este día será para descansar, después del desayuno un vehículo nos recogerá para llevarnos a disfrutar de unas relajantes aguas termales naturales de donde disfrutaremos de un buen almuerzo típico de la región, alrededor del medio día nos devolvernos hacia Bogotá donde esta aventura termina.

DAY 1
The adventure begins in the morning in Bogotá, from where we will head to Ibagué, with a stop for lunch in a local restaurant with traditional Colombian food. Later we will enter the Combeima canyon, where you will be able to enjoy a beautiful landscape. Upon arriving to Juntas, we will begin a 30 minute walk through a trail filled with wildlife, leading to an Eco lodge, which will be the final resting place of the whole adventure. Here you will be able to relax and explore this magical place, enjoying views of the mountains and the snowy peaks of the “Nevado del Tolima”, which stands as a silent guardian. You will find this is a magical place.
DAY 2
On this day, we have an early start with a quick breakfast before leaving for the trails in search of endemic species. We will have a specialized guide (ornithologist) to take us on a walk in the trails, where you will appreciate the bird diversity of the region and later that afternoon we will return to the Eco lodge, where we will enjoy a delicious traditional lunch, after which you will feel delighted of having a beautiful adventure, with great pictures to remember it! After a well-deserved rest, we will return to Bogota.
Explora la belleza de Suesca y disfruta de una excursión que te llevará por los impresionantes paisajes escarpados de Cundinamarca. Saca tu espíritu aventurero y descubre cuevas y acantilados naturales característicos de esta impresionante región.
En seguida descubrirás por qué el pueblo muisca llamó a esta ciudad “Roca de las aves”, ya que, al llegar te encontrarás con los impresionantes acantilados de más de 100 metros. Estos, conocidos como las Rocas de Suesca, destacan notablemente entre el resto del entorno, generalmente plano. Es un destino popular entre escaladores y senderistas quienes aprovechan las vistas del exuberante paisaje, las plantaciones de flores y los atractivos senderos para huir del bullicio de la gran ciudad.
Siénte la paz y la tranquilidad que se respiran al pasear por una vía de tren abandonada a los pies de impresionantes precipicios, y entra en misteriosas cuevas llenas de magia. Esta excursión te llevará por los puntos más destacados de Suesca y sus alrededores, unos lugares llenos de historia. Está situada a tan solo 60 kilómetros de Bogotá pero el cambio de paisaje y entorno es tan pronunciado que te parecerá haber entrado en otro mundo aun habiendo viajado poco tiempo. Deja atrás la ciudad y empápate de la exuberante belleza de Colombia gracias a esta excursión desde Bogotá.
Pasa un día entero de excursión por el departamento de Cundinamarca y las ricas tierras que unen Zipacón y Cachipay. A poca distancia de Bogotá, es un lugar idóneo para huir del ajetreo urbano y caminar por rutas de verdes y frondosos paisajes.
Saldremos de Bogotá a primera hora y nos dirigiremos hacia el encantador pueblo de Zipacón. Aquí verás los indicios más antiguos de agricultura y alfarería del Atliplano Cundiboyacense que se remontan a 1270. Luego seguiremos por las vías de la antigua estación de tren, ahora en desuso, y pasaremos por plantaciones de guisantes, habas o chayote. Disfruta de un recorrido por antiguos caminos rodeados por lagos, vegetación frondosa y una rica biodiversidad y respira aire fresco antes de llegar a Cachipay.
A través de esta ruta nos iremos encontrando con interesantes monumentos y santuarios como el Santuario de la Virgen del Amor Hermoso, donde las solteras en busca de pareja vienen a rendir pleitesía. Conoce la leyenda que roda a la Piedra de la Verdad y contempla un techo construido a base de guadua –una planta nativa similar al bambú- en Cachipay. A l final de esta excursión, volveremos al bullicio de Bogotá y te dejaremos en el hotel para que pases la tarde en esta enorme ciudad.
