If you ever fancied trying scuba diving, here’s your chance. It’s a half-day course that lets you dip your toe into diving with experienced instructors from our Sharm El Sheikh dive partners, Ocean College. First, we’ll pick you up from your hotel for an introductory briefing. Then it’s time to practice breathing underwater on a fun training dive in confined, shallow seas very similar to a swimming pool. Once you feel at home with everything, it’s on to a proper shore dive around a shallow reef, so you can view the exotic fish and beautiful corals that make the Red Sea such a diving mecca. There’s no need for nerves either - your instructor will accompany you at all times, talking you through everything and showing you the marine life. And if want more afterwards, why not make the most of your time in Sharm by taking an Ocean College discovery boat dive or a full, four-day PADI diving course?

If you’re already a qualified PADI Open Water diver - or have an equivalent certificate - this diving package takes you the next level. Over two days, you’ll enjoy five adventure dives, including deep and navigation expeditions, each supervised by a PADI instructor from Ocean Village. On your first day, a boat will whizz you out to some of the best dive spots around Naama Bay. But the real highlight comes on the second day. That’s when you’ll head to either Ras Mohammed National Park or the Tiran Straits. Renowned as two of the world’s finest diving sites, they’re both bristling with amazing sights. Spend the day swooping around sunken wrecks. Waft around rock pinnacles and sponge gardens. Serious about learning scuba diving? Then this four-day PADI Open Water course with Ocean College will enable you to dive to a depth of 18 metres with just a ‘buddy’ rather than a dive professional. Everything starts with two days of practice in the pool or confined waters of Naama Bay, with your instructor teaching you all the essentials. There’ll be some theory-based work, too. Then it’s time to take the plunge. On your third day, you’ll take two dives around a fabulous house reef at Naama Bay. And on your fourth, you’ll board a boat for two dives around the best local sites. Your instructor will be there throughout and introduce you to the delights of the Red Sea. With its fluorescent-coloured coral, sponge gardens and eye-popping tropical fish, it truly is paradise. And once you’ve finished, you’re free to dive anywhere in the world for the rest of your life.
Already taken your PADI Open Water theory and confined water training? Then this two-day PADI Referral course is ideal. It lets you do all your theory work and confined water sessions elsewhere before taking your qualifying dives with our dive partners, Ocean College, in the Red Sea. Just bring proof of your training - it needs to have been in the last twelve months - and you’re away. On your first day, you’ll enjoy two shore dives from Naama Bay, swimming around a vibrant house reef. Then on your second day, a boat will whisk you to brilliant local sites for two more dives. Descend into the crystal-clear waters with your instructor and feast your eyes on technicolour coral beds, stunning sponge fields and zillions of reef fish. Once you’re finished, you’ll be eligible to dive anywhere in the world up to 18 metres in depth and with a ‘buddy’ rather than a dive professional.
The Scuba Diver course covers the fundamental diving theory and in-water skills that will permit the successful participant to dive worldwide while accompanied by a PADI professional, to a maximum depth of 12 metres. The course consists of three knowledge development sessions; three confined water training dives and two open water dives, either from the shore or from a boat, conducted to a maximum depth of 12 metres. Following successful completion of the course it is possible to continue your education by upgrading to PADI Open Water Diver at any time.
If you have not dived within the last twelve months then you will be required to complete a Scuba Review conducted from the shore.

Tonight’s all about dining and dancing. You’ll be whisked down to the world-famous Hard Rock Café in the heart of Naama Bay. The restaurant is packed with rock and roll memorabilia, and the menu is packed with tasty American food – think twisted mac ‘n’ cheese and hickory-smoked ribs. You’ll sit down to a three-course meal before you’re let loose on the dancefloor. The soundtrack to your night? American rock and roll, of course.
