En la región central del Estado de Quintana Roo se encuentra Muyil sus pobladores tuvieron una economía basada en la explotación de su variado entorno (Selva, lagunas y mar). Las ruinas de Muyil es un ejemplo de la arquitectura del Peten con cierta re semblanza arquitectónica con los vestigios de Tikal en Guatemala, lugar que conoceremos de cerca su historia e importancia. Nuestro siguiente destino, el sur del Estado de Quintana Roo; territorio que alberga todo un tesoro escondido que atrapará tanto a seguidores de la naturaleza como a los amantes de la cultura.
Un lugar único en el mundo donde conoceremos la magia de la laguna de Bacalar por medio de un paseo en lancha, durante el cual podremos observar un "Ojo De Agua" donde brota el agua desde los canales subterráneos que vienen desde el estado de Chiapas y alimentan la laguna. Posteriormente visitaremos el "Cenote Negro" es un cenote dentro de la laguna, un fenómeno poco usual, que tiene una profundidad de 200 metros. Luego pasearemos por el primer canal, veremos cómo están rodeados de carrizo y piedras, y podremos admirar los diversos colores de la laguna.
Durante el recorrido en lancha navegaremos frente al "Fuerte De San Felipe" fuerte que construyeron los conquistadores al llegar a la zona, el guía dará explicación sobre la historia del edificio y las batallas que se libraron ahí. Seguimos hacia el "Canal De Los Piratas" en este canal realizaremos la exfoliación con barro y azufre que se encuentra en la misma laguna, se les explicara la historia del canal y como los piratas robaban las materias primas y maderas preciosas de la zona.
Posteriormente iremos a otro de los canales donde observaremos los "Estromatolitos O Piedras Vivas" son los seres vivos más antiguos de la tierra; ya que son colonias de bacterias que se forman en la roca, formando capa sobre capa haciendo crecer las piedras y están vivas. Luego de todo este recorrido iremos a un restaurante en frente de la laguna para relajarnos en frente de ella y tener nuestro tiempo de comida, al terminar daremos un recorrido en los alrededores del fuertes de San Felipe, tomaremos unas fotos en las letras de Bacalar y regresaremos a donde comenzó nuestra aventura.
