Topkapi Palace, residence of Ottoman Sultans exhibiting imperial treasury, sacred Islamic relics of Prophet Mohammed, kitchen, Chinese porcelain, weapons, calligraphy section etc. Live guide commentary is not allowed in special sections. (Harem is not included in the program). Sultan Tombs, there are five tombs of Ottoman Sultans within the graveyard at Hagia sophia. The ceramic panels are the most beautiful examples of the 16th century with purple, red, green and blue flower motives. Prince robes and a small piece from the Kaaba covers are displayed on the sarcophaguses. Tour ends around 17:00 and transfer back to Istanbul Atatürk Airport.

We are going to take a bus tour through the city, during which we will see the most famous areas of Istanbul on the European side, will pass through the famous Bosphorus Bridge, and find ourselves in the Asian side of Istanbul, where we will admire a panoramic view of the city. Then, returning to the European part, we will see the ancient walls of Constantinople city, the Roman Valens Aqueduct and many mosques of the Ottoman period. Our acquaintance with the city will be completed at the modern trade fair center of leather and gold.

The Topkapi: Palace was the official and primary residence in the city of the Ottoman Sultans, The palace has been converted into a museum, a superb example of Ottoman architecture. There are a wide range of porcelain, robes, weapons and images of the Ottoman sultans, manuscripts, jewelry and treasures in addition to the Ottoman sultan’s thrones.

The Sultan Ahmed Mosque: or the Blue Mosque due to the blue tiles adorning the walls of its interior. The Sultan Ahmed Mosque has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Istanbul. This mosque is famous with its six minarets. Hippodrome: The ancient Hippodrome where the sport, political activities and chariot races took place. Hagia Sophia: is a former patriarchal basilica, later a mosque, now a museum. Famous in particular for its massive dome, it is considered the epitome of Byzantine architecture. It was the largest cathedral in the world for nearly a thousand years.

The Dolmabahçe Palace: located at the European side of the Bosporus, served as the main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire. The palace attracts tourists from all over the world due to the unique design and the valuable contents. Today, the palace is managed by Milli Saraylar Daire Baskanligi (Directorate of National Palaces) responsible to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. The only way to see the interior of Dolmabahçe is with a guided tour. After the Palace, the tour moves on to the Suleymaniye Mosque. Built in 1551 by the celebrated architect, Mimar Sinan this is the largest mosque in the city and a well-known sight located on Istanbul's Third Hill.

The tour also passes Istanbul's ancient city walls which date from the Roman period and the world famous Golden Horn, the city's primary inlet of the Bosphorous Straits and where these waters meet the Marmara Sea forming a natural harbour used by trading vessels for thousands of years.
