You will be collected for your full day trip to Chobe National Park in Botswana. A 1 hour drive to the border where you will disembark and clear immigration out of Zimbabwe a 2 minute walk through the Border and you will be met by your Botswana Guide. A short drive to the Botswana Border where you once again disembark and clear immigration into Botswana. A 20 minute drive to Chobe Safari Lodge where your Safari will begin. Chobe National Park is one of the greatest game reserves in southern Africa and famous for the number of elephant that live there. The Chobe River flows lazily through the Caprivi flood plains and provides a haven for huge herds of buffalo and elephant, zebra, wildebeest, lechwe and impala which are followed closely by predators including lion, hyena, the elusive leopard and the odd pack of the now rare wild dog. The bird life in particular is exceptional.
The Safari starts with a morning game viewing cruise on the Chobe River with tea, coffee, drinks and light snacks being served on board. Large flocks of birds, big pods of hippo and very large crocodiles are all around. After disembarking, lunch is then taken at the Chobe Safari Lodge, which overlooks the Chobe River and the flood plains beyond. In the afternoon, open safari vehicles are used for a game drive into the park. The game drive meanders its way back to Customs and Immigration, before crossing the border and then transferring back to Victoria Falls at approximately 18:30.
Please remember to organize a packed breakfast from your hotel. You will be collected from your Hotel reception for your day trip to Hwange National Park. A 2 hour drive which takes you through the small town of Hwange, and an area of rural Africa with villages and fields dotted about the landscape. On arrival at Hwange Safari Lodge you will transfer to an open Game Viewing vehicle for your picnic day trip into the Park.
Hwange is one of the largest Parks in Africa and is home to the last great free ranging Elephant populations which move between Hwange and Chobe in Botswana. The park is also home to over 103 other large Mammal species and over 300 species of birds.
You will be collected at your hotel reception for a short transfer to the Boma. This excursion provides a unique cultural experience that bombards the senses with the tastes, sights, sounds and smells of Africa. Together with the warmth and hospitality of Zimbabwe , and its people.
The Boma nestles in a Gusu Forest and is partly open to the spectacular African night skies.
On the sunset cruise, meander between the islands above 'The Smoke that Thunders", the local name given to the Victoria Falls and discover bountiful wildlife and birdlife. On this cruise the guests are welcomed with an alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverage on the boat whilst given a safety talk and a brief history of the river on the outset of the trip.
Whilst on the cruise the guests are offered drinks from the fully stocked bar and a range of mouthwatering snacks.
You will be collected from your hotel for a 20 minute drive to rural village near Victoria Falls town where you are given the opportunity to interact with local villagers going about their daily tasks. The tour enables the client to see rural life first hand; visiting rural homes, watching their fields being tended and possibly getting the chance to help in some of the day-to-day chores.
To put the Victoria Falls into true perspective, they must really be seen from the air. The sheer size and grandeur of the spectacle becomes clear when viewed from above. The huge Zambezi River flowing slowly south with hippos and crocodiles clearly visible in the shallow waters, elephant quietly browsing on bright green islands as the water spreads across the full width of a great rent in the earth before crashing over the lip in a burst of spray and then squeezing into a narrow, foaming, blast of water rushing down the zig zag funnel of the gorges. An unrivalled view of the Victoria Falls and surrounding National Parks area“…scenes so lovely, must have been gazed upon by Angels in their Flight”.

You will be collected from your Victoria Falls accommodation early in the morning from where you will be transferred to the border. This is a unique border post where the countries of Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia meet in the middle of the river.
Begin your day with a boat cruise on the banks of the magnificent Chobe River; from here you can do some of the best game viewing as animals come to the water for an early morning drink. Some highlights of this trip include sightings of elephant herds coming to the river to bath, buffalo and the high probability of sighting lions.
After lunch, which is included in the tour, you will be taken into the park using a 4×4 safari vehicle, essential for the sandy dirt roads that comprise the park. At the end of the day, which draws to a close at approximately 4pm, you will be transferred back to your Victoria Falls accommodation.
