One day trip with driver-guide to see the highlights of the famous UNESCO World Heritage sites of the Monasteries of Bucovina. The tour includes visits to the worldwide best-known monasteries of Voronet, Moldovita and Sucevita. First stop is Voronet Monastery, known as The Sistine Chapel of Eastern Europe due its exterior blue frescoes showing “The Last Judgment”. In just half hour by car from Voronet the road will take you to another mountain village, where is located The Monastery of Moldovita, one of the first painted monasteries in Bucovina, completed in 1532.

Crossing Obcina Mare mountain, you will discover the late 16th century Sucevita monastery the newest between the painted churches. Leaving Bucovina without visiting the traditional workshop of black pottery in Marginea to find out the secrets directly from clay masters, is not allowed.
