Syracuse is steeped in rich legends and history like a true Greek drama that your guide will bring to life before your eyes. Visit the famous archaeological site and imagine tragedies being acted out at the largest Greek theatre in Sicily, walk amongst impressive ruins and poke your head in the cave of Dionysius’ Ear, where every prisoner’s whisper was carried to the surface because of its acoustics.

For the second part of the tour we visit the bustling historic centre located on the island of Ortigia. Wander along its cobbled streets soaking up its charm as we head to the majestic cathedral built upon layer and layer of history. Whilst in the centre, don’t miss out on the town’s enchanting shops and cafes to capture the essence of Italy.
