If you want to understand a whole country then have a look on its capital, and this is even more true here in Sicily. Walking though the capital's busy streets is like leafing through a history book. Here the architectures mix in Gothic, Norman and Baroque styles but it's the Moorish and Arabs who have left the strongest trace. The guide will explain some of the city's wonders and a stroll at your own pace will allow you to take in the flavours of this magnificent city. Time for shopping is also allowed.
