Fado was born in Lisbon in the 18th century and is part of the Lusitanian soul. Nowadays it is listened and known throughout the world and in 2011 was elevated to World’s Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Discover Lisbon, city of Fado, through iconic locations of this musical genre. You’ll visit some historical neighborhoods situated around the city center where you can still find ‘fadistas’ (Fado
singers) and performers, alongside the typical Portuguese guitar. Immerse yourself within Lisboa typical alleys and feel like a true ‘Lisboeta’!
