In the morning discover the magnificent city of Lisbon, beginning with a visit to the historic district of Belem, where the stunning Jeronimos Monastery is located. Then head to the Baixa, the city’s downtown, with its principal thoroughfares such as Avenida da Liberdade and Marques de Pombal Square and, finally, to Alfama, the city’s oldest quarter. ‹br›‹br›
In the afternoon, head to Sintra, a Unesco World Heritage Site, and visit the National Palace, with the admission included in the tour. Then continue along the coast and drive by Cabo da Roca, the most westerly point of continental Europe, and on to Guincho, Cascais, a beautiful seaside resort, and Estoril before returning to Lisbon. d
