Walking Mountain Tour is a walk through Sintra Forest with average difficulty, this is a unique experience in harmony with nature. The passing through emblematic areas, fabulous views over the Atlantic and a visit of the Capuchos Convent are the highlights of this day. A unique opportunity to get to know Sintra forest, exercise and enjoy unforgettable moments over the Atlantic.

The walking tours are guided in environmentally protected areas. A tour leader accompanies the entire tour, giving an introductory briefing and making the natural and cultural interpretation of the route. Our policy prioritizes the participants and area safety, where the activity occurs, thus this is a guided tour (1 leader per 10 participants), sandals & Flip-Flops not permitted, pause to hydrate, leave no trace principals.

Meeting/pick-up point: Hotel pick-up. Morning tour: from Lisbon, between 9.15am and 9.30am, and from Cascais and Estoril, between 9.30am and 9.45am.
Afternoon tour: from Lisbon, between 2.30pm and 2.45pm.
Time to be confirmed 24/48 hours before the departure of the tour.
Duration: Four hours.
Start/opening time: Morning tour, at 10am; afternoon tour, at 3pm.
Languages: English and Portuguese.
Others: For safety reasons, this activity is not allowed for pregnant women, persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other psychologically altered states and children under 1,5 meter. The tour might vary depending on weather conditions or events that could take place on certain dates.
