The Sintra Canopy tour challenges the more adventurous who want to become acquainted with Sintra forest using off-road trails, and to have an emotional experience below its canopy of trees with over 200 years of age. A trip that starts in the south-western zone of Sintra forest, passing its natural history and culturally most emblematic spots. The Canopy experience is the unique opportunity to cover an area by slide and suspension bridges in a forest dating back to the 19th century. The day ends with a visit to Sintra itself, to relax and enjoy its unique atmosphere.
Meeting/pick-up point: Hotel pick up available from Lisbon, between 8.30am and 8.45am, and from Estoril and Cascais, between 9.15am and 09.30am. Please confirm the pick-up time 24/48 hours before the tour.
Duration: Eight hours approx.
Start/opening time: At 9.30 hours.
Languages: English and Portuguese.
Others: Tours are not adequate for persons weighing over 110 kgs, over 1,90m in height, in wheel-chair or conditioned locomotion, or expectant mothers. The tour might vary depending on weather conditions or events that could take place on certain dates.
