Join us on a 4x4 adventure to Sete Cidades, travelling off the beaten track to some of the most stunning viewpoints of São Miguel Island.

After being picked up from your hotel we set off on a 4x4 adventure to the jewel of São Miguel – Sete Cidades. We take several off road tracks, most used by farmers, to get to places only a 4x4 can. We reach outstanding viewpoints over the island and coastline, which are sure to be the highlight of any trip to the island. We stop at Pico do Carvão, Empadadas lakes, and Vista do Rei (the famous King's viewpoint), before reaching the mighty Sete Cidades.

Have a picnic in incredible surroundings along the mystic lake shore at the bottom of the crater. Relax and take in the scenery around you, in what is guaranteed to be a moving experience.

After lunch we go back to the past! Bake bread and biscuits, milk a cow, plough the earth and participate in traditional activities and games. Connect with nature and the island’s local traditions in what is a fun-filled day in São Miguel Island.
