Wittenberg is gearing up for the huge celebration of the 500th anniversary of the reformation in 2017. Visit this UNESCO world heritage site to visit the renaissance town hall, see medieval churches, including the St. Mary’s church where Martin Luther himself preached more than 2,000 times.
Your guide will also give you a private tour of the “Luther House” museum, including the room where Martin Luther entertained his guests, the Lutherstube. Of course, you will also see the door where Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses in 1517, kicking off the Reformation.
