After the pick-up's in 4WD vehicles, we go to the starting point of this circuit: the village of Peninha, the cultural and ethnographical highlight of the area. We start the walk direction the top of the rock outcrop of Pena, passing before the climb a cafe for refreshments and WC.
Discovering the local flora, fauna, and history with a well-informed guide, the views during the walk and at the top are spectacular, the experience unforgettable. Degree of difficulty: medium to high. We advise light & comfortable clothing, sports shoes or boots, water, hat and even binoculars!
