The tour begins inside an ancient rectory next to the Cathedral where you can see exclusive images and reconstructions on how the Duomo Complex and the city have come to be the Cradle of the Renaissance over the centuries. Discover the workshop where the famous “David” was once carved by Michelangelo, and where stonemasons tirelessly work to restore authentic masterpieces using only original tools and techniques.

The tour includes a guided visit of the Baptistery and Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, where you will learn about the wonderful works of art kept here. Just a few steps from the Cathedral we round off the tour with a tasting of Chianti wine complemented by cheese with balsamic vinegar. Your ticket is then valid for 24 hours allowing you to visit the remaining monuments, (Brunelleschi’s Dome, Crypt of St Reparata and Giotto's Bell Tower) at your own pace.

Duration: 2 hours approx. + tasting time.
Start/opening time: At 11:15am.
End/closing time: At 1:30pm + tasting time.
Others: A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
