Like a blue satin ribbon uncurling itself against a patchwork of lush green fields and vineyards, the Moselle River and its surrounding valleys form a cultural landscape that has been shaped by man for over 2,000 years. During the tour we visit the best part of the valley, including the enchanting little towns of Cochem, Zell, Traben-Trarbach and Bernkastel.

Idyllic medieval villages line the banks of the meandering river, towered by old castles and framed by forests and meadows. Terraced vineyards, some of them the steepest in Europe, create the famous wine of the region. Rest and taste some from one of the traditional taverns and contemplate the contours of the landscapes.

As we drive along the valley, enjoy the unspoiled nature alternating with the lovely ambience of villages replete with carefully restored half-timbered houses, picturesque market squares, narrow streets, twisty alleys, medieval churches, abbeys and palaces.
