The moment you step into the magnificent Palazzo Vecchio you will be deeply moved. The hall is a royal passage that goes over the heads of the people of Florence, where the Duke could walk without an escort. Contemplate the breathtaking views over the hills and the Arno River, and admire the stunning collection of 16th and 17th century Roman and Neapolitan art that decorates the passage.

After a lunch break, delve into the beautiful park of the Royal Palace of the Medici family. This park, which was created by artists of the likes of Tribolo, Ammannati and Buontalenti, is a great example of the Italian garden. Here you will find rare and ancient plants, some of which date back to the days of the Medici family, and a collection of priceless Roman sculptures and 18th century buildings like the Palazzina della Meridiana. Opening days/period: From April to October: every day except on Monday.

During periods of increased inflow of visitors, despite our reservations, the admission to the museums may be subject to delays, mainly due to security reasons for which the access to the museum is regulated according to the number of people inside it.
