You’ll come face-to-face with some of Boa Vista’s best bits on this tour. And you won’t be ferried around in a coach, but a monster truck designed to take you off-road and across bumpier terrain. You’ll journey into the heart of the island, across the lunar-like red rock and dusty roads that characterise the landscape. Your first stop is Curral Velho, an abandoned village fronted by a white-sand beach. Secondly, you’ll experience Povoacao Velha, a settlement dating back 500 years, and the oldest on the island. There’ll be a refreshment stop about halfway through the trip.
