Get into the Christmas spirit with a visit to some of Germany’s famous Christmas markets! We’ll take you across Berlin to three of the city’s most beautiful and beloved markets. You’ll be able to buy beautiful hand-crafted gifts for Santa to deliver, treat yourself to a traditional German Wurst, and best of all, keep yourself warm with a cup of the German mulled wine ‘Glühwein’ or two (or three or four...).
Your guide will tell you the history of the Christmas market tradition, and of course the story of Knecht Ruprecht, who takes naughty children into the woods and gives them a harsh lesson in how to be good next year!
