Take the whole family on this fascinating and mysterious itinerary: unveil the legends wrapping up Ancient Rome.
This walking tour leaves from the Bocca della Verita (the Mouth of Truth) in the ancient Forum Boarium (the cowshed) and the Basilica of Saint Mary in Cosmedin and takes you to Circo Massimo (Circus Maximus) where your family will take a short rest-stop to savour a quick snack and then head to the Temple of Hercules and the Arch of Janus.
The tour will end at the Ancient Theatre of Marcellus. While adults follow our guided tour, kids will do some colouring activities and represent the symbol of the Mouth of Truth and its old legend on a souvenir cd whilst imagining Roman everyday-life scenes within the Circus Maximus.
Meeting/pick-up point: 18, Piazza Bocca della Verità in front of the Mouth of Truth – Rome.
