Three Days of Marvels in a reverse order

DAY 1: ISTANBUL - KAYSERI > CAPPADOCIA

Your private vehicle will be waiting for you for an early morning transfer to the airport. Upon your arrival at Kayseri airport, your car will be ready for you for a drive to Cappadocia, the land of stone dwellings, rock chapels and monasteries. The first day’s tour will include the Citadel of Uchisar, Zelve Valley and Avanos, the pottery village; as well as the Göreme Open-air Museum with its churches carved out of rock and one of a kind frescoes; and the Karanlik Church, which has recently been restored and announced as one of the world’s treasures by UNESCO. You may enjoy an optional lunch in a local restaurant with a selection of local wines; before visiting the Soganli Valley, the Cavusin Village and Pasabag Valley with Fairy Chimneys. An elegant dinner and a magical night’s rest at the authentic Cappadocia Lodge Hotel which will help you to absorb the day’s marvels. Dinner (optional tours to a simple wine house or to a local folkloric performance after dinner are available).

DAY 2: CAPPADOCIA > ANKARA -IZMIR

Breakfast will be served at the hotel, before leaving for the Pancarlik Valley and the Underground City of Derinkuyu. You will leave Cappadocia at noon and drive to Ankara via the famous Salt Lake, a vast ocean of white. The drive takes almost 4 hours, with optional lunch on the way, at the 13th Century Agzikarahan Caravanserai of Selcuks. Upon arrival to Ankara, you will take an evening flight to Izmir, where you will be transferred to your hotel. You will spend the night in Izmir, one of Turkey’s most beautiful cities, reckoned for its unique character.

DAY 3: IZMIR > EPHESUS - ISTANBUL

Following the breakfast at the hotel, drive to Selcuk for the tour of Ephesus. See the Odeon, the Marble Street, the Hadrian Temple, the Celcius Library and the Great Theatre. You may opt for lunch in a local restaurant, before paying a pilgrimage visit to the House of Virgin Mary. This Christian and Muslim shrine is located in the vicinity of Ephesus; and it is believed by many that Virgin Mary was taken to this stone house by Saint John and lived there. Your car will then take you back to Izmir Airport for the flight to Istanbul. The tour will end with a private transfer from to your hotel. The same tour is available in a reverse order, with slight alterations.

Meeting/pick-up point: Pick up at the hotel.
Start/opening time: 1st day – 6am.
End/closing time: 3rd day – 9pm.
Drop-off location: Hotel.
Included: Transportation by air conditioned vehicles, accommodation in a 4 stars hotel and domestic flight tickets.
Not included: Drinks and all personal expenses, admissions fee and lunch.
Others: Rates for tours out of Istanbul that has overnight stay include half board accommodations in a 4 star hotel. Rates are per person with double occupancy. Upgrades are available upon request for an additional fee.
