After hotel pick-up, you will get to the complex and go through a souvenir shop and will be placed in a historic setting of the Jesuit Missions, where you can watch a memorial projection on the trailhead Cabeza de Vaca. Afterwards you can contemplate the Brazilian Landmark of Three Frontiers, and the beauty of nature where they find The Foz do Iguaçu River and the Paraná River. At dusk the landscape is completed with a beautiful sunset.
At the landmark painted in blue, yellow and green, the colors of the Brazilian flag, you will be standing at the border with the countries of Paraguay and Argentina. From there you’ll be able to see the landmarks of the Argentinian side and the Paraguayan side as well. You will learn about the Paraguay War, where Paraguay faced Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina. There you will understand the strategic reasons as to why Paraguay invaded Brazil and about the long-lasting impact of the outcome of the war. It gives you a different perspective into the frontier itself.
After this historical tour, you can have a delicious dinner at Cabeza de Vaca Restaurant. You can choose from a variety of Pastas, Fishes, Beef and Salads. Entries and Desserts are also included.
