Skip the traffic and travel on the Campania Express for a guided tour of Pompeii, the city frozen in time. A new and modern train service from Sorrento will have you on the door- step of one of the world’s most famous archaeological sites in a little over 20 minutes.

This fascinating half day tour’s the perfect introduction to this ancient city, situated at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. It was destroyed in 79AD, following the famous volcanic eruption that smothered it in 6 to 7 meters of pumice and ash. Enjoy a 2 hours walking with guide around the remains of this impressive - and doomed – city to get a feel for what life was like in Roman times before the city’s destruction.

Meeting/pick-up point: Sorrento train station.
Duration: 8 hours.
Start/opening time: At 9.15am. Please ensure you arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes prior to the tour start time.
End/closing time: 7.15pm.
Required documentation: Remember to bring the voucher and valid photo ID with you.
Includes: Train tickets, an English speaking guide and headsets in Pompeii.
