Known worldwide for its exquisite cuisine, Italian cooking has never been made so simple! Learn how to make delicious Italian pastry in a friendly and relaxed environment led by a professional chef. Roll up your sleeves and get involved in every step of the process. Perfect for those with a sweet tooth, or, if you want to treat friends and family when you get home, take away the recipes from the workshop and re-create these scrumptious sweets in your own kitchen.
During the workshop we learn how to prepare Cantucci of Prato with almonds, a delectable Tuscan biscuit, as well as Sicilian Cannoli, a famous and irresistible recipe that uses fresh ricotta, candied fruit and fine flakes of chocolate. We also create Neapolitan Pastiera, based on cooked wheat and fresh ricotta, flavoured with cinnamon, vanilla and deliciously scented orange-flower water. Once the aroma of freshly baked pastries has filled the room, we sit down for a light lunch of taglietelle with seasonal sauce prepared especially by the chef. Then comes the moment to taste your delicious desserts, and all the effort will be long forgotten.
