Built during the Middle Ages and renovated by the Medici family, the palace preserves its austere 14th century architecture and holds priceless Renaissance treasures and works of art. Stroll amongst the wonders of Renaissance and retrace its history with the help of a guide.

The visit starts at the elegant Michelozzo courtyard, before continuing on to the famous and beautiful “Hall of the 500”, seat of the Grand Council. We also visit the charming and intimate study of Francesco I de’ Medici, the beautiful private apartments of Eleonora of Toledo and Cosimo I de’ Medici. Stroll along the sumptuous and stunning boardrooms, past an incredible series of frescoes, paintings, decorations and statues by the greatest Renaissance artists.

As the sun begins to set over the city, we head up to a height of 40 metres, to an ancient battle patrol path. The spectacular sight of monuments and the palace bathed in shades of orange and pink will make your memories of Florence even more special. Enjoy a guided tour from high up, and climb to the top of Arnolfo’s Tower to end the tour with stunning birds-eye views over the city and its hills.
