You will get to know a beautiful unique Colombian landscape, offering peace and magic. This is an ideal place to enjoy the tranquility offered by the desert and the Caribbean Sea. In this journey you will enjoy a wonderful sharing experience with the Wayuu culture.

DAY 1:
The trip begins in the city of Riohacha, which will be our starting point towards Cabo de la Vela, passing through Uribia, indigenous capital of Colombia, and continuing towards Manaure, the largest salt complex in Colombia. In this magical place we will make a tour with an explanation of the salt extraction process. In the afternoon you will witness beautiful landscapes and sunsets. Before nightfall, we will head for a Ranchería, typical hotel of the region, where we will dine and spend the night in hammocks.

DAY 2:
This day will have an early start with a nutritious breakfast to later visit the beaches at Pilón de Azúcar, where you will have a chance to go up a small mountain and enjoy panoramic sites of the sea, desert and the Cabo de la Vela. We will later return to the shelter for a lunch before returning to Riohacha.

Meeting/pick-up point: Hotel pick-up.
Duration:2 days and 1 night.
Start/opening time: At 8am on day 1.
End/closing time: At 3pm on day 2.
Opening days/period: Daily.
Languages: English – Spanish. You will be accompanied by a professional native guide.
Dress code: Note that you will visit a desert region, so we recommend the use of comfortable clothing suitable for this. Wear a hat or cap and use sunscreen. Walking boots and Tennis shoes or sandals for resting Swimwear and beachwear.
Medical restrictions: Don´t do this activity if you are under the influence of alcohol or any hallucinogen drug. You are responsible for your medical prescriptions to prohibit activities of this type.
Required documentation: Personal identification Min. Age: 5 years.
Others: You must respect the privacy of the natives of the region. If you would like to take a picture with them, you must first ask for permission.
Recommendations: Bring a bottle of water to hydrate. Use insect repellent.
