This excellent value lodge commands a favourable location in the heart of the Masai Mara National Reserve - it even has its own airstrip. The lodge is built next to a hippo pool where you may see animals basking in the sunshine. There's also a wooden walkway that lets you get that little bit closer to these impressive creatures. At the end of the walkway you find a viewing area with a bar - perfect for that pre-dinner drink. The lodge itself is a comfortable place to stay and features accommodation in cottages set throughout the gardens. There's even a swimming pool for cooling off between game drives. Surrounding the lodge is the Masai Mara reserve, with its fantastic game-viewing opportunities - the sheer concentration of animals here is astonishing.
