Half day into the hidden village of Curral Das Freiras - a village that was cut off for many years and got its name from the nuns who used the village as a hiding place from pirates many years ago. Spectacular mountain scenery at Eira Do Serrado overlooking the Nun's Valley before heading in to have a look around the village and sample the locally produced liqueurs. Finish off the morning with a visit to a traditional wine lodge with chance to sample Madeira wine.
