Love shopping? And Greek wine? Then this trip combines both in one outing. First of all, you’ll visit Nea Moudania, a bustling coastal town known for its Wednesday morning market. It’s the largest outdoor market in Halkidiki, so it’s ripe for a shopping spree. Cue stalls weighed down with fresh produce, olives and honey. Racks of clothes and leather bags. And stands piled with local handicrafts and trinkets. You’ll have free time to roam around and snap up the goodies. Next on the agenda is the Tsantalis winery, just a few kilometres away, where you'll go on a guided tour and learn about the wine-making process. Then after a stop in the coastal village of Nea Kallikratia, your last stop of the day is a small vine leaves factory. You'll see vineyards and lab here, and learn about the organic foods they produce.
